Right Choice Roofing and Repair

Frank was great, came to my place on short notice and helped me fix an issue with our downspout. This is our second time going with Right Choice Roofing and Repairs. Frank was excellent the first time so we used them to replace another fallen downspout (not the same one!!!). He is nice, down to earth, knowledgeable and honest. The work he did was really good, and we would recommend him and would happily hire them again.

I called Right Choice Roofing to get a quote on repairing our roof. Because of the pandemic I was worried that scheduling this kind of minor repair would be difficult and take time. To my surprise Frank showed up within an hour and was able to do the repair immediately. He also inspected the rest of my roof and recommended some minor fixes. He was very conscientious and thorough. In addition, free of charge, he did a minor repair on one of our eaves troughs which likely saved me a ton of money. I will definitely recommend him to friends and neighbours.

Had some significant racoon roof damage to my house and Frank made it right just before the weather deteriorated. Very thorough workmanship using the latest technologies to correctly diagnose the problem; detailed estimate and invoice and complete cleanup: Highly recommended.

I live in a large modern house with a very large 12'x12' custom Glass Skylight Roofing system. My entire Roof leaked badly and Frank and his brother came in almost 7 years ago to repair and every leak stopped!

In 2014 Right Choice Roofing and repairs fixed it and it has not leaked since.

Frank Gillis was very proffesional and kind. It truly was a pleasure to work with him. He oversaw the entire operation and helped us make sure our roof was done the right way and the best way for us. He communicated with us every step of the way and took several pictures to show the damage that needed fixing, the progress he made and the final product. He is an honest man in a business where there arent many anymore. I highly recomend his work. He is the "right choice" if you want a safe and reliable roof.

On Saturday night, with the heavy rain, water started leaking from the ceiling in one of our bedrooms. So on Sunday morning my husband Rudy called Frank at Firsf Choice who came within a couple of hours. He inspected the roof with the help of his drone and informed us about 3 missing shingles. He gave us a reasonable quote to which we agreed because he seems Honest, Trustworthy and Qualified. He started to work immediately and after going on the roof found several areas that were damaged by the Racoons.

He took pictures, came down and showed us the condition of our roof from all angles. He had the solution and assured us that he would complete the job before sundown

When he completed the job we were really relieved because Frank comes across as a person of Integrity, Efficiency and Trust.

His charges for repairs were reasonable. He seems straightforward and meticulous about his workmanship. He was fully equipped in his truck to handle our roof repairs and did not have to scurry about to bring any material.

Our first experience with Frank has been Great. We highly recommend him to all people with roof repairs. He is prompt and punctual. Polite and respectful in his manner.

Right choice roofing came on time got the job done when I was at work my roof looks amazing. they gave me a fair price and left my property clean all garage gone. best roofing company in Toronto would recommend them to anyone no job to big or small.

The first time I had him come out in cold rainy weather, when I had water leaking into my kitchen. I called him on recommendation from the previous home owners, and he was very prompt in getting back to me. He had a great memory for the house and current state of the roof (which he hadn't done the original work on). He was happy for me to come up onto the roof with him, and thoroughly walked me through what was going on up there. He found the source of the leak confidently and efficiently, and was very honest about all the options, ranging from a short-term to semi-permanent solution, and the pros and cons of each. I felt he genuinely wanted to do the job right, and in as affordable way as possible for me. Since he fixed that area, I've had no further issues with water leakage in that spot.

He was very upfront though that I had other potential problem areas on my roof, however, and sure enough a couple months later a leak in another area developed. This time the weather was a bit better so we went ahead with some additional proactive repairs as well as the source of the current problem. Again he talked me through options, and I felt he was upfront, honest and had good integrity.

I hope to not need Frank again in the near future, but I certainly would call him again if I do!

I am sharing this experience I had with right choice roofing and the owner Frank, because I am extremely pleased and want to help others who find themselves in the same predicament as I did. The other great reviews I read about them before calling were all spot on and I hope my review helps others with their decision on choosing a roofer.

I had a sudden leak in my kitchen and as per my insurance company was told to find a roofer to come out and do emergency tarping. I called 6 or more roofers all with voicemail promises to contact me within 24-48hrs, and only 2 got back to me. Frank was the only one who picked up right away and promised to be at my house first thing the next day, and he was there exactly as promised. Despite being the owner, he is hands on for sure and he grabbed a ladder and climbed on up to access the situation. He took his time explaining the problem and solution, he was very clear and honest that it would be a short term solution and a complete reroofing would be ideal, but was also honest to say that it could and should wait until better weather to be completed. He even took pictures of up there to explain better. He proceeded to do an emergency tarping which is very high quality and durable as he used multiple layers to hold it down with the intention of it holding until good weather so we can bypass (if possible) the temp fix and keep us until we can do a full reroof when the weather clears up. He even helped me by giving me an interior ceiling water damage quote after I had trouble finding any interior people to give me quotes. He and his crew are very personable, understanding people who are very professional and do great work for very decent prices! When the weather gets better you can bet they are the people we will be going to for the reroofing! Thanks Frank!
