One of the most professional outfits out there! There is always an owner on-the-job, which was appealing from the start. They were prompt, worked hard, cleaned up well every day and went above and beyond what a run-of-the-mill outfit would provide for the finished product. On time and on budget, and the surprises were always good ones!! Five stars and will definitely recommend to anyone out there!

Ed, Joe and their crew were great. They went out of their way to help us with electrical work. The removal of the existing concrete was more then they expected. It was considered a large job. We are happy with the results overall.
We had SCP put in a broom finished patio and walkway 2 years ago. The crew was amazing and friendly. The work was done properly and turned out perfect. Its been 2 years and I have not had a problem at all with the work or the product. SCP also did a very large retaining wall, Patio and outdoor bbq area for my back neighbour that turned out amazing!!! I would highly recommend them.
I would not recommend SCP Stamped Concrete Pros Inc. As far as the quality of the finished work it looks great, very impressed. As far as timelines, communication and commitment a job that should have taken 2 days took over a week where there hadn’t even been a drop of rain.
My husband and I were originally impressed in our first contact with their company representative. Their quote although it wasn’t the lowest we received their timeline was the soonest, although this probably should have been a red flag we decided to go with them. We were told the job would be completed within 6 to 8 weeks with 2 weeks scheduling lead time and they would be in and out in 2 days. After a month of no follow up communication I contacted them to get a sense for when we could expect the job to be completed and as we have had an extremely dry spring I did not expect any delays. To say the person was annoyed with my calling would be putting it mildly. The next week when I still had no timeline I called back again and again he would not give me any indication or even a rough timeline. He told me he would probably be able to give me a timeline the next week. When I called back the following Monday he said he would probably be there on Wednesday. Originally he told us he would give us 2 weeks lead time not 2 days. We scrambled to move things around in our backyard and our schedules to accommodate them. The first day we had a team of people come in and we were very impressed with the progress they made. That’s where the great impression ended. We were told by the main contact that they would be back either Thursday or Friday to do the stamping and Monday or Tuesday to clean and seal, but the job would be completed by Tuesday the latest. Friday one person came and did the stamping. When he left there was brown powder all over and the guy did not communicate what the next steps were or when they would be back. We were left without access to our backyard since this brown powder would be tracked everywhere. When I still had not heard back from anyone on Monday I called them again and again the rep clearly let me know how annoying he thought I was because I wanted to know when they were coming back. He told me they would be back Wednesday or Thursday. When I told him we had no access to our backyard he told me I could hose off the brown powder myself in the meantime, which I did however it was still a mess. On Wednesday two guys showed up to power wash the patio and told me they would be back to put 2 or 3 coats of sealant on and would take approximately 20 mins to dry between applications. The one guy returned for approximately half hour and left again with no communication. Approximately an hour later I called the rep to see if the guy was coming back or if the job was now complete, now he was very agitated and told me I was being rude to him. I told him I was sorry however I just wanted communication so I knew when the job was complete. He cut me off and told me it was done. I believe he was the one that was DONE and given the guy was only there for a half hour I believe only one coat of sealant was applied. Given the job cost us almost $6,000 I don’t think it’s too much to expect some customer service thrown in.
First I would like to say thank you for including the fact that you where very impressed with the quality of work and that the finished product looks great!
In regards to timeline and commitment to project, Im not sure where you got the impression that it would only take 2 days to complete. All my projects take approximately 4-5 days depending on type and size of job, what type of finish is being installed and weather. In regards to communication, Kathy had contacted me about 6 weeks after they had given me the go ahead to find out when we would be starting. At the time we were working on a 5000 square foot project for the city of Hamilton (Pier 7 Hamilton) which had several delays to schedule and wasn't sure of the start date on her project. Kathy had contacted me again a week later and told her that we should be ok for the first week of June but she was annoyed that I couldn't give her an exact date. Unfortunately we are a seasonal business and we have a short window 8-9 moths to complete a years worth of work, when Kathy had called again I had told her I would have a better idea at the end of day. I called Kathy later that day and told her we would be starting on Wednesday, so there was plenty of communication and advance notice that we would be starting.
We showed up on Wednesday as promised had prepped the area and poured concrete that same day, the following day we came back and cleaned and cut,the next day we stamped borders, each one of these steps requires cure time and drying time. We left it till the following week and came back on Wednesday to thoroughly clean and later seal, applying 2 coats of seal which would only take 30 minutes to apply since the patio was 150 square feet and the sealer had taken nicely so there was no need for a 3rd coat (which could have resulted in a cloudy hue on the concrete had it been applied). when Joe my business partner was onsite the day he applied the seal he had a brief conversation with Kathy and offered to help her move something that she was struggling with which she refused help. Joe completed the sealing and left. Kathy had called me after Joe had left and seemed very angry that no one had told her that the job was completed. she came off to me as being rude and i told her that she shouldn't be talking to me in that manner, she apologized and continued to complain about our lack of communication. She then abruptly cut me off to ask if it was ok to use patio and hung up after I answered her.
