Slavik Design & Renovation

This is the third time I've used Slava for a renovation, I think that in itself says it all.

The renoes always come in on budget and his work is second to none. I would not use anyone else and in one case waited four months to begin my reno as he was busy on another project.

He never takes short cuts and in one instance when I suggested it he looked at me and shook his head.

After having many bad experiences with other so called contractors and renovators, it was a pleasure to deal with Slava. He did a wonderful job in the 2 bathrooms that he renovated in my house. He is meticulous and takes pride in his job to deliver amazing results. Slava is also very polite and patient to deal with. I truly and highly recommend him for any job. I am patiently waiting for him to start another project.

Slava was just brilliant. We renovated our kitchen in a heritage home in Oakville and rebuilt the room from the sub-floor and brick shell. Slava did all the work himself to a very high standard. At no point did we feel he was rushing or cutting corners, in fact he always erred on the side of taking that extra half hour to make sure it was perfect.

We communicated in detail every day and he was very clear about expectations, any additional costs that may have arisen, and how long things would take. He was here every day and always left the house clean and tidy and was very respectful of our property and the fact that we were living in the house through the renovation. He provided us with all receipts for materials and we reconciled on a bi-weekly basis just to make sure he had working cash and we had visibility into what he was buying and from where. He completed the project right on the original budget and right on time given we adjusted the scope of the work as it went along.

It is always a bit of a lottery choosing a contractor for a significant project. We were looking for someone who was honest and straightforward and easy to work with. Slava is all those things and and excellent craftsman too. Our kitchen is spectacular both on the surface and behind the walls where it really counts thanks to his diligence, patience, attention to detail and hard work. We really think we lucked out and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Slava was the only contractor who I contacted actually cared about my deck renovation. He was the only contractor of 4 who made an appointment actually showed up for the appt and on time. Very easy to talk to about what I wanted done and to work around my budget. The yard was alway clean after every days work. I have kids and pets I did not have to work about anyone getting injured.

Slava did a wonderful job restoring our very large tired deck and he did it at the agreed upon time within the schedule agreed to. Slava's work ethics are second to none. He kept to our schedule and is someone you can trust. I definitely would recommend him for your next project.

I Have renovated over 15 houses in the last 25 years and i have never had a contractor that has made me 100% happy.

Not only was slavas work perfect, he is the most polite person i have ever met.

Slava took my unfinished basment and made the most wonderfull living space at a reasonable price.

Each day after work the area was clean and it hadly felt that i had a contracter in the house,with parst experiences not only was the area were they were working a mess but usually every where else to.

I will gladley recommend him to any one and in fact already have as he is doing jobs for two of my friends.

We had a couple of people working for us this year on our house renovation project and Slava was certainly outstanding. He is really a perfectionist. Maybe not the cheapest, but the best.

Slavik did a great job assembling our daughter's new playset. He was on time and very professional. Would recommend.
