I did a whole home reno of my two bedroom 1 1/2 story home, floorboards to studs, basement to attic. The design help totally achieved my wishes and ideas while adding loads of practical advice. The construction phase was really good. There were a few minor errors, which were fixed without question or time wasting. There were all the usual surprises, to the tune of nearly $15,000 yet Colin was able to find sufficient savings and room in his budget to make the final cost under 3% over, while maintaining the overall vision He took on additional challenges cheerfully, AND he finished on time.
There is nothing more I could have asked for: on time, effectively under budget, and willing, kind and helpful contractors and sub-trades. The after-care of those things which have come up has been terrific too.

We wanted to renovate all 3 of our bathrooms as well as patching some ceiling damage in 2 separate rooms. When Bonnie came out to estimate the job I knew I had found someone who wasn't into trying to intimidate me. (Which I had felt during 3 other estimate interviews). I knew I could work with her but needed to figure out if I could also work with Colin. He is like a young Mike Holmes. He does excellent work, as do all the people who work with and for him. Especially Richard. When a glitch happened (as it always will), Colin was there and I learned I could trust him to fix it. This was huge as I tend to be a perfectionist. I had finally found someone who had higher standards than I do and this meant that the stress level was much decreased for the Reno. The results of the work are great and Colin's suggestions along the way made them better than I would have imagined. Richard's willingness to go the extra mile so I would be pleased was a huge gift. When we needed light bulbs that would work with the dimmer on the light fixture Richard trialled different bulbs till we found some that worked. That meant extra trips to suppliers for him and it was great to not be the one trying to find a solution.
All of the sub trades were excellent.
The only frustration came as a result of communication gaps that I think occurred because the company is growing so fast. It was more an irritation than a problem as Colin continued to fix any problems and that simply reinforced our belief that we can really trust him and that is priceless!
I know that any future renovations will be done by Colin!

Hello,
We had a main floor with full carpet and old linoleum that desperately needed to be replaced. We had high quality laminate but had no idea how to remove the old product and lay the new. Tayky developments did the complete job for us! Not only were they amazing with Communication, the quote was very reasonable and didn't change once the work was done. They did high quality work on an amazing budget and very quickly and professionally! Not only that but after the work was done they kept communication open to make sure the work was done right and we were happy with it! It has been many months since the work was done and it feels like we have a new home! The floors look amazing, are quiet and durable. We were so impressed with the work this company did ...if we ever need anything else done they will be our first and only call!
