My son’s Alienware R13 computer crashed at 4pm today and he had an online University exam at 8pm. Super stressful! My son is quite computer savvy but none of his trouble shooting worked. I found Techespresso through a Google search and by a stroke of good luck, there was a 6pm appointment open for a home visit. Marwan, the tech, arrived shortly after 6pm (crazy snow traffic today!) and within 45 minutes had my son’s computer up and running (apparently an Alienware update caused the crash). The total cost $100 - best $100 I ever spent. I may not know anything about computers but this mom knows how to get things done!
My husband was having difficulties viewing videos on his laptop and I suggested he call Tech!Expresso. (I had sent my iMac computer out earlier with Tech!Expresso for a new hard drive and I was very happy with the results. The price was right and the work was efficient and fast.) Kris helped my husband repair the computer online with a computer help device. He didn't make a house call. He was very patient and walked my husband through every step! Again the price was right and we were very happy with the results. This last computer adjustment occurred during the coronavirus pandemic so having a laptop up and running was very important to my husband as he liked to watch horse racing videos to pass the time. Thanks to Tech!Expresso we know where to go when we are having problems with our computers.

I called Tech!Espresso as I couldn't get into windows or Outlook. William knew exactly what to do. He had explained everything to me, and had the system up and running in no time ! I had an urgent time sensitive issue and as a last resort, called in Tech!Espresso. Wesley not only resolved the problem in a very short period of time but resolved some other issues as well. I am extremely impressed by his scope of knowledge and competence and will not hesitate to call him again in the future!
STAY AWAY!!!
For a detailed accounting, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which Tech!Espresso is NOT a member of. I will also be pursuing legal action.
The issues:
1) For a timely resolution, I opted to purchase a used computer from Tech!Espresso. After the fact, it became apparent that the subcontractor had grossly misrepresented the age of various components within the purchased computer. I was told the computer was approximately 2 years old; however, motherboard is 7 years old; processor is 8 years old, “new” video card is 8 years old, and 4 “new” RAM sticks range in age from 7-9 years old.
2) Additionally, after initial service was completed, multiple technical/software issues became apparent. These issues were never resolved despite sending repeated requests to both the owner and subcontractor.
3) In light of the above, I requested a refund; however, their supposed 60-day warranty has not been honoured.
4) Theft of some of my original computer parts – DISHONESTY!
5) Extremely poor and inadequate customer service. Tech!Espresso has not bothered to respond to my last four communications. They have blatantly ignored me.
6) Conflicting communications and willingness to resolve issues between owner, subcontractor and employees.
Over the years, I have posted many positive reviews for various companies, and this is my first negative review … and deservedly so!
Wes was very knowledgeable about our Mac platform and offered very good suggestions about how we can protect our information in the future. He was able to diagnose what was wrong with the computer, back it up, clean the virus off and give it back to us with all the information intact. We were very satisfied with his knowledge and service.
We had WIlliam come in this afternoon, and he was excellent and very friendly! He also got right to the root of the problem very efficiently and improved the functionality of our home computer system. Would definitely recommend.
