Upgradez had all the qualities that I would look for in a contractor: integrity, reliability, knowledge, problem solving skills and craftsmanship. Colin and his team only had 10 days, due to our tight time frame, to do a great deal of work and it was all done two days before our move in day. He was organized and on a couple of occasions when I came to the house there were four or five men working diligently. Naturally, I will call Colin if I need something done in the future and will enthusiastically recommend him to anyone needing work on their house.

Colin is a fantastic resource for home repairs and renovations. He is punctual, very knowledgeable, professional, and leaves your home spotless upon the completion of the work. Colin is not only a perfectionist in his craft, he is very friendly and trustworthy. He was extremely neat and tidy and completed each job efficiently as we were very pressed for time. Our house was built in 1921 and so has many imperfections. Colin was able to repair some ghastly cracks in our ceiling and walls which made the house more appealing. His painting is very precise and professional. I would recommend Colin for any home improvement job, new or reno.

I hired Upgradez to merge our underutilized den with our kitchen and add bench seating for a new kitchen table. I gave Colin the equivalent of a few napkin sketches to show him what I was thinking and he came back with a beautifully conceived design that met all my functional requirements and accounted for practical challenges that hadn't even occurred to me.
The implementation was fast, clean, and surgical. The results are stunning.
I'm happy to pay a premium for a smart, skilled contractor I can trust, but Colin's fees were very competitive. Highly recommended.

The service, quality/craftsmanship, and attention to detail were second to none. Colin really knows what he's doing. Because of the state of our bathroom, there were quite a few surprises hiding behind the walls but he always had a very reasonable solution that ended up looking beautiful. We thought we knew what we wanted, but Colin came in and very respectfully pushed our design ideas to another level, while staying within our budget. Thanks Colin.
