How do I unscrew the white and black knobs on each U shaped tube? I am unable to do it with my bare hands?
How many knobs do I work on for each U shaped pipe?
Do I need a set of pliers to do the job?
Do I work on the white and black (=2) screws to remove the tube for cleaning or do I have to work on more than 2 knobs for each pipe?
How many sections of the pipes do I have to clean in the areas underneath the
- kitchen
- bathroom 1
- bathroom 2

Yes you need pliers to loosen the nut. You should only remove the large nut on the ptrap to clean.
You will need to loosen the trap adapter nut, (white)
As well as the union p-trap nut in order to drop the trap.
Be sure to put a bucket under the p-trap to catch the water.
Hello, as posted above yes you need pliers and put a bucket below the p-trap before loosening it.
You will need to loosen two white nuts at the top and the big black one at the p-trap and it will come down and you can clean that whole assembly.
Do not over tighten when you put it back as these nuts tend to crack if overtightened.
