Hello,
Wondering if someone could help please. My old detector is end of life - I bought a replacement one that was confirmed to a be a suitable replacement model. The problem is the old one simply has 4 wires but the new now has 7 potential slots for the wires and has different labels.
I am attaching the old one - photo and a wiring diagram for the new one plus a link to the user guide install for the new one.
My limitation is reading wiring diagrams. There is also a mention of bridging some slots together.
Appreciate any suggestions - thanks in advance !

Hi Anthony,
Looks like there is an internal supplied connection. No Harm in trying the following hook up. Green wire to "C" ; Yellow wire to "NC" ; Black to "-ve" ; and red to "+_ve"...
You should be ok.
By The way there is a new all in one type detector that you can find at most outlets or Electrical supply companies that has a strobe light if something were to go wrong. This is a nice safe option as well.
Good luck
Tony - thank you very much ! this worked perfectly - very much appreciated !
best
Anthony
