I would like to install a flush mount led ceiling light using a can light conversion kit.

Is this against code in Ontario?

This kit is only available on Amazon, which makes me wonder.

It is possible to install and it's not against CEC.

Hi Kanata

As long as the equipment is from a reputable manufacturer and is approved for installation in Canada, with either a valid CSA, underwriters, laboratories, or Intertek approval marking and all of the manufacturer installation instructions are followed , and all other requirements of the Canadian electrical safety code are followed, then there shouldn't be an issue. However, without additional information such as a model number for the kit, we can't guarantee anything through this forum.
