Cost for demolition of a house

I have an old house (100yrs approx) that needs to come down so the property can be sold. It has about 8 large spruce trees lining the property. It is a corner and second lot. How long a procedure is it to acquire the necessary permits, and do the trees need to be removed prior to the house being demolished? Would I have to get the permits or does the company doing the work do this? Can you give a ballpark estimate on the cost?

Are we removing the debris of the old house? The trees may not have to come down so long as they are part of the original RPR.

This may take 6 weeks if the home owner applies for the Demolition permit rather than a General Contractor.

Ballpark for demolition of house only... $5000.00...

Have you thought of advertising the house for sale if someone takes the entire house and moves it off the property?
