I would love to transform my detached garage into a commercial kitchen, but I want to know the cost before I commence with all the paper works. I live in BC. Any ideas as to what it would cost me please?

I only know last time i did the restaurant project only ventlation system roughly cost 100 grands and pass the fire department check.
You would first have to see if your municipality would allow a commercial kitchen to be installed. Most residential locations aren't allowed commercial businesses. Call your city's building permits department to find out.
If allowed, you would then need engineer drawings to take to a contractor so he could give you a price. Be sure the contractor is licensed and all required permits are pulled such as plumbing, electrical, etc. so you could pass inspections and know that your kitchen is safe and covered by insurance.
