I know this is going to be tough question to answer but hopefully someone is willing :)
We are purchasing an older home and we are wondering if it would be possible to transplant the new kitchen from the pictures to the old kitchen. I can see several issues with where the window is in the house and the cooktop in 'new' kitchen but I was thinking a skilled carpenter would be able to figure it out. The really difficult thing at this time as well is we don't have measurements for anything....just pictures. We have not taken possession of the house and the new kitchen was a demo kitchen that was in showroom for a cabinet manufacturer that has been professionally dismantled.
Hi, it is impossible to configure that without a on site inspection. Most things come down to simple "time & money" I have experience thinking outside the box and have done some interesting rebuilds but the structure itself will be your limiting factor. Can it be adapted? or are you looking at major structural changes to house? Do you want to spend $60,000 on a kitchen or $100,000. Buying a house with the kitchen you like may be a simpler solution but if you truly love the house/location, have the budget and want a dream kitchen anything is possible.
