Once you figure out your total sf of board to do the house including 10% waste, then you price it accordingly to the final sf. Not as per the house. Always as per the total of materials.

You quote it on the square footage you are actually going to install.

Charge by sqft of board 4x8 is 32 ft 4x10 is 40 ft 4x12 is 48ft them add up all your sheets then times it by your price that will get you your quote.

It's usually priced per sf [board square],labour to hang board is around 35-50cents and to mud and tap its around 1.50$ per board sf. Thats prices for just labour.

Hi

You charge by the sf of the area being done. Not the sq of the house. Also if theres bulk heads you charge for that as well.

Hello there,

Charge per board sqft anywhere from $35 to $60 cents to install and $1.50 for taping. Ottawa pricing.
