I'd like to cover my electrical panel now that we've finished our basement. I was thinking of hiding it behind a custom cabinet so its still fully accessible, just no longer such an eyesore. Are there any requirements I should be aware of?

You need one meter of clearance in front of the electrical panel for maintenance.
