Help! I over pruned my pine trees. How do I fix it?

Hi, we have several pine trees in our backyard that provided a sound barrier and privacy to the highway behind the trees. We hired someone to trim the trees but they over trimmed them. Now the pine trees look bare and we lost the sound barrier. If the branches don't regrow, what can I do now to improve the sound barrier and privacy? I also hate it looks so bare now. What can I do to make the tree trunks look less bleak?

Please advise.

Thank you.

Here you can either wait until new branches grow, and you need to regularly fertilize them. Or plant new trees. I think there is nothing more to come up with.

evergreens are pretty hardy should just re-grow and pray to Gia for forgiveness of your indiscretion
