I have a beagle dog and he has continued to scratch the hardwood flooring. I have used BONA liquid to refresh the hardwood but the results are minimal. Should I use oOlive oil to shine it and somehow hide the very shallow scratches?
Thanks
Dogs will scratch hardwood floors. There are a couple options. 1) use Bona restore and follow all the instructions or 2) hire a professional to re coat your hardwood.
The second option would yield the best result. We have products and equipment that are not available able to the general public and require training and know how so the floor is not damaged but restored professionally. Costs for these services run about 2 $ per square foot. However your dog will again scratch the new floor unless you keep his nails short. Then the scratching will be less. But depending on the dog, scratched hardwood is par for the course!
