I want to add celiing lights in my house, Do i need to run conduit?

Currently the wiring from the switch goes to an outlet, if i pull this wire into the attic. Do i need to place conduit over it? Or if its 1.5meters from the ground, I do not need to do this.

Depending on the situation you will need to leave the wire to the outlet to bring power to the switch. You may run nmd 90 if it is wood framing, in metal framing you will need ac 90 or grommets used on the holes of the nmd90. It is a good idea to hire a licensed electrical contractor to ensure proper installation. Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions!
