How much should I expect to pay in Toronto to have a replacement ceiling light fixture installed by an electrician?
This is the fixture that I have purchased: http://www.eglo.com/eglo_global/Products-Canada/Main-Collections/Interior-Lighting/CONDRADA-1/92726A
Comments from people who have installed this fixture say it takes about 30 minutes to install.
You are looking at 30-40mins for installation and 1Hr Labour ($150) for the install.
This is the issue with light fixtures, you never really know what to expect before you get there and get into it.
I think a typical flat rate for Toronto would be $100 to $200 for any fixture install.
Now if there are issues such as parking, condo / apartment access, messed up box or wires you can to expect to have an adder / extra to the fee.

Thanks for your replies. People have been quoting a lot higher $300 seems typical so I guess I need to look around further.
