Metal strip between flooring

Can I hire a Rona employee to install a metal strip in my kitchen that goes between my hardwood and kitchen tile?

You probably could but installing a threshold is very simple. Cut to size, put pl adhesive inside the gap your trying to cover then install the cut piece of metal and let it cure.

Or use the screws or nails that are provided.
Depends on the metal, if flat or slanted to meet differing floor heights.
Any handyman should be able to do this for you if you don't want to tackle it yourself.
