We have a little moisture coming in from the basement floor and we want to seal it before finishing the basement. Is the Blueskin product (the one you paint on) a good solution or is it just for exterior walls? We already have it, but don't want to waste our time or have it not work. If it's not, what is the best product?
call in a concrete sealing / repair company, don't waste your time or money on painted products as this will only block water short term. The water will still work and weep through the concrete as the crack moves. Injection repair or exterior foundation is the best remedy.
Such paint will not help much as you will applying it in the opposite direction of the water source. You have to hire a professional basement water proofing company that will advise you with the best solution. Do not take the risk with an easy solutions then you will find the problem still existing after the basement is finished
