The price various based on difficulty and number of sheets, you can pay from $1.55 on the low end to $2.00 per sqft on the high end

Regular taping price is 0.5-0.7 cents per sq/f for labor (depend on corners quantity) for labor.

Drywall boarding is 0.3-0.6 per sq/f for labor

Hi Matthew

Most of the answers are $2/sq.ft..

We prefer a level 5 smooth finish and wet sanding to eliminate joint rolling.

This is time consuming and depending what level you want we quote $2.50 to $4.50 per square foot.

It's very difficult to give a per foot price without knowing all the information. Ceiling heights, fire rating, texture finishes, total square footage all factor into calculating price. For a ballpark you can bet on at least $2-$5 per sq foot of wall and ceiling area to be finished. Anyone quoting less than $2 a sq foot you're probably going to be less than impressed with the quality of work.
