Waste pipes pressure cleaned but still getting backflow and TERRIBLE smell. I think some sort of vent pipe may be missing. There used to be a pipe at the back of the house, vertically sticking up from the ground, that now seems to be missing, could this have been a vent? I am getting siphoning of kitchen and toilet sinks too. Water bubbling back even as I just run the faucet! My husband has bad lung problems, so I know this needs fixed and quick because of the sulphide/methane. What would that back garden pipe have been?
Sounds like you still have clogged waste pipes or had a incorrect entire waste system installed in house, they don't use vent pipes outside. There is only venting in the house these will exit to roof as well as the main stack that they are typically all tied into, the symptoms do sound like plugged or no venting.. Also after it is fixed, you should consider a back flow preventer.. They have been standard on homes for decades. You will not get a diagnosis on the internet.
