Ventilation experts & plumbers: trunk blocking p-trap access for tub re-install

Need help ASAP!! What is the solution to re-installing a tub on the 2nd floor of a 2 storey house when all the plumbing was pre-finished and afterwards the furnace venting was installed after it was newly built.

Now to access the P-trap to seal it for the tub re-install has posed a problem because sitting directly below the P-trap is the furnace warm air trunk....

You either have to remove and reinstall the air duct or you have to cut a big enough hole - that can be "hatch" covered after, in order to work on it.
