What is the labour cost per sq ft to remove 420 sq ft of old decking and replace with new pressure treated wood. How many hours to complete the work? Could you give me the labour rate per hour on a time and material basis?

I do not recommend hourly, there is no incentive for the contractor to be time efficient as well reputable pros do not do hourly. As for your questions: the demoiltion and disposal will be $1,500, a 420 sft deck all wood with rails, skirting and a step will cost $7000 in labor min., the pilings are $300 each and you will need at least 3 to 6 for a deck that size, the materials' in 2023 will run you about $8,000 +, so approx a rough estimate without details is at least $18,000 or $42 sq/ft...composite is more at about $65 sq/ft
