(Almost) finished basement needs drywall ceiling installed and prepped. I will handle priming/painting.
3/8" drywall preferred. Interested in z-channel, but not required.
Ceiling height is ~ 6.5'.
There are 5 small rooms: (9'x12', 4'x6', 6'x15', 8'x5', 5'x5' - all approx.). No soffits required (already completed).
All rooms have new-construction pot-lights (not remodel).
Available early mornings (before 9:30), evenings (after 6), and weekends (all day) for onsite evaluations.
Project basement:
- 400 square foot L-shaped room recently renovated
- both ceiling and walls have been drywalled; approximately 35 sheets
- corner bead will be installed
- location: Etobicoke
If the price is right (around $500?), we'd like to go with a professional to do this work. Please provide a quote and estimated time required to do the work, as well as when the work would get done (days, evenings, weekends).
Happy to answer any questions. Many thanks.
Vent register keeps falling, because the white cement used to patch the gap between drywall and vent isn't strong enough to hold the nail.
I have 2 went registers that has the same problem, both are located in the basement. Attached the photo of the vent.
How much will it cost to repair?
Small kitchen (second kitchen) framed and close to ready for drywall. Room is 7' X 12'.
Some small work also in bathroom reno. A few square feet.
Drywall and taping.
Also follow on work as beginning renos on other larger areas of the house. But quote on above for now.
Thanks.
Dan
I'm doing a renovation and the drywall mudding and taping and sanding is taking to long and so am looking to see if you would be interested in continueint this work while I get other things moving along. I am guessing 5 or so days to finish, however, I really need someone that could start right away. Please let me know if interested, location is southwest Etobicoke.
Hey everyone,
I am looking for someone to do the following work for me on my bungalow in Etobicoke as soon as possible please:
- there are 2 hanging drywall edges on ceiling above windows (approximately 12' X 1') that need to be removed and the hole filled in with drywall
- 1 hanging drywall at main entrance (12' X 3') needs to be removed and the hole filled in with drywall
- existing drywall repair on edges
- taped and mudded
- the ceiling in living room and hallway has a design plaster on it (not popcorn) which we would like removed either via plaster (or another recommendation made by you).
Thanks
Mustafa
We had someone remove the popcorn ceilings in our small townhouse and they have applied one coat of mud to the entire area.
Since then, we have been unable to get them to complete the work and we’ve got flooring and cupboards coming at the start of next week.
Is there any way that you might have availability to come and have a look and complete by the end of the day on Sunday April 9th?
The house is on three levels (Lakeshore Blvd. West) and there is approx. +/- 1000 sq. ft. of ceilings as well as a few bulkheads in the kitchen area.
I have 2 small projects that I'm bundling together.
1) The ceiling of my laundry closet needs to be replaced. I'd like a nicer hole for the dryer exhaust. I'd like to keep the light where it is.
2) There is a small hole in my basement bathroom at floor level, covered by the baseboard that i've pulled away.
Please See the Pics.
I'll look after any subsequent painting and getting the baseboard re-installed.
thank you.
Rob
