I have a corner bedroom 10x10 whose outside two walls collect condensation and mildew in the winter. The house was built in early to mid sixties, and has what we believe to be plastered with gypsum lath underneath or concreteboard. We suspect the insulation is inadequate and want to reinsulate and drywall these two walls. If the price is reasonable, maybe even do the one wall that runs along the back of the adjacent bedroom (about 13 feet or so). Both back walls have a window.
Sub contractor required... drywall to be hung, mudded and sanded for a 780 sqft bungalow, 2 bedroom, hallway 2 closets, and a large front room, no bathrooms. Total wall sqft 1720, total ceiling sqft 780. Please provide rough estimate for material and labour total and estimated time to complete.
I've been contracted to finish an unfinished basement. The framing is done, and the electrical starts tomorrow.
I am looking to potentially subcontract the drywall installation and/or taping to a good crew. The framing is all new so it is a fairly clean job. The basement is 1100 square feet.
You need to be good and available to start next week.
I am replacing the old ceiling tiles in the basement of my 35 year old home. Tiles have been removed and studding is bare and in very good condition. I'm also looking at installing pot lights and at the same time I'd like to drywall over the panelling that exists (or I'll remove panneling if recommended) The room is approx 12X24
Basement is being renovated. All framing, electrical, HVAC and insulation will be completed. I can install the drywall as well, but need someone to mud and tape the seams. But if needed, I'm willing to let a pro do the drywall and taping if it is done within my budget requirements. Approx 100 linear feet plus bulk heads (no ceilings) required for drywall.
I supply the drywall and screws. It's already there. You supply corners..... (The rest)
The job starts this Saturday or Sunday latest.
I need a real drywall installer/taper that does this for a living to install 35-40 sheets in a kitchen on the main floor. It includes the ceiling. Also, the living room ceiling and joining hallway need to be hung and taped. There is 3 sheets in this area that need to be hung on the wall too.
Finally, the upstairs bathroom is ready to drywall and tape.
All together, this job is 35-40 sheets.

We agree on the price and a payment schedule. I pay cash daily for work cometed based in our agreement. I DO NOT pay cash up front except for materials that stay at my place.
I've recently completed some demolition in a basement. A small bedroom and rec room need a new ceiling and some light work in the hallway.
Once complete, most rooms in the house require at least 1 coat of paint, maybe 2.
I would like to get a quotation to drywall the ceiling in my living room. I would like to have a smooth finish and would require the work completed to the point where I can apply primer and paint myself. The particulars of the room are as follows:

All nails and screws have been removed from floor joists
Some trimming of existing drywall in the adjoining kitchen might be required
Ceiling will require 6 cutouts for pot lights
Information required with quote:
Total cash cost for materials and labor.
Job duration including start date and total number of expected trips back to sand and mud.

I am planning on installing a wall on the top floor of my townhouse to separate the room from the staircase. The celing is 8' high. The wall will be 7.5' wide, with 2.5' extensions on either end to wrap around the staircase. I plan on framing a door in the wall. I am debating between doing a glass partition in the top portion of the newly installed wall.

I have a drywall which had some mold on it, the mold has been removed but i want to replace these drywalls, total length of the wall is 10 feet and height is 8 feet. This will require removing this current drywall, install a new one and then taping and sanding and getting it ready for painting.
I have some damage around the second storey bedroom window. I’ve had the window company look at the problem and they’ve determined it’s not the window but potentially the gutter along the roof. I’m looking to get repairs done as the damage can also be seen on the living room ceiling. Trying to get an estimate.
