Looking to do a complete bathroom renovation. The house is 34 years old. The bathroom is apprx 60 square feet, all of the walls are wallpaper and cannot be removed without tearing the paper from the drywall so complete replacement is most likely.the addition of a exhaust vent would be required since it has no vent currently.Tile flooring and around the tub will be required. The current bathroom only has one plug beside the light switch so a second plug would be great addition. The floor is carpeted but easily removed.I will supply the vanity cabinets and sink as well as all faucets for sinks and tub as well as mirror.
Remove exisiting tiles and wood panelling and old cabinet, old fixture and mirror which is glued to wall. Install new drywall new cabinet new light fixture bathroom fixtures and paint all walls and ceiling which is panelled. I have bath fitters for my tub and tub surround. You supply drywall and tape and means to remove old material. Will you remove toilet and reinstall? We can discuss anything that I may have forgotten. I am ready now for renovation.

I need a small bathrooms drywall and tiling repaired and water proofed. The entire wall needs to be replaced and sealed up.
This may involve either repairing the job to make the shower functional or depending on cost fully renovating the bathroom to rebuild shower, walls, tiling and painting.
Hello,
I live in Guelph in a townhouse. I would like an estimate of the labour cost to remove an old tub shower with tiled walls, and replace with a new tub shower, as well as new tile flooring in a small bathroom.
I know what materials I would like to use from Home Depot, so I would prefer to purchase the materials myself and just have it installed.
The full scope of the project would be:
- shower wall tiles (removal and new tiles) possibly with a small niche added
- Bathtub replacement
- Shower faucet replacement (installing a pressure balance or thermostatic valve)
- Glass door installation (a one side pivot door)
- Replacing toilet
- Floor tiling (existing floors are a thin “peel and stick” plastic, so probably easy to remove)
Please let me know if you have a labour-only cost estimate.
Thank you,
Joanna
Complete bathroom renovation. Our house was built in 1955 and I think the bathroom has not been touched since the 60's. We require a new sub-floor, dry wall, tub, toilet and vanity. We also need a vent put in the bathroom as there currently is not one. The bathroom is appox. 8' x 8'.
We only have one shower, so we need this to be done quickly with quality in mind. We also would prefer to supply flooring, tub, toilet and vanity ourselves.
Roughed in bathroom exists in finished basement. I will supply corner shower, vanity and toilet. Work consists of running hot/cold pipes, connecting drains, installing drywall and fixtures. Price the project with 2 options 1) installation of small window in concrete wall or 2) exhaust fan instead of window. Leaving floor bare
Remove existing tile in shower and replace with new. Shower is approx. 36" x 36"
Replace vanity, approx. 54" but could go 40-42 with 12" cabinet to one side.
Possibly removal of ceramic tile floor and replace with new.
Toilet - already purchased but would need to be installed.
Paint bathroom & install hardware/accessories such as towel bars, mirrors, etc.
The above is the total project but what I really need is for someone to replace shower. The rest we could do on our own. We are, however, open to someone doing entire project.
We have a walkout basement which is around 700 sqft (calculated from square footage of the house which is 1475sqft). We plan on getting a 3 piece washroom built (rough in already in place), along with an open area. Essentially we want to put in drywall around the main walls, build the washroom and put in flooring.
Hi, We have an old cast iron sink we'd like installed in our 2nd floor bathroom. The plumbing may need to be fiddled with to hook up the sink, and we have been told that the wall needs to be reinforced, possibly with concrete.
Additionally, removal and replacement of some drywall is required.
Pictures of sink and bathroom area available!
My mother is moving in to a condo and we have already purchased the tub from Costco - American Standard walk-in with jets/heater etc. We would need to have the old tub removed and the new one installed as well as new tub surround on the walls. The door frame will need to be removed to get the new tub in. The new tub is a little narrower than the one coming out so we may need to fill in the edge from the existing tile. Bathroom is approx 5' x 8' would like quote for fresh paint as well. My Mom has already closed on the condo but has not moved in yet - no move date as she is selling her house she would like this completed before she moves though.
MY home is an 800sq ft bungalow built in 1962. It's located in Guelph. I would like to upgrade the kitchen cabinets and counter top. The kitchen is quit small. The counter is an L-shape measuring 72in x 44in (each measurement is from the rear corner to the edge of counter). The upper cabinets on one wall measure 76in and the other measures approx. 40in.
My main concern is the bathroom though. I haven't use the upstairs bath since I moved in. The bathtub drain leaks. I'm guessing it is because the previous owners did a do it your self bathroom in the basement right below the upstairs bathroom and may have caused damage to the drain above (i don't know) but it has caused some water damage to the plaster walls.
It has also caused a mold problem. It is your standard 3 piece bath with a window in the shower. I would like to definately replace the vanity and the toilet. Fix the tub drain and possibly replace the tub with new tub and shower surround. Also if budget permits replace floor tiling in bathroom and possibly small hallway and kitchen. I am preparing the house to be sold and my budget is $10,000.
Complete removal of existing kitchen cabinets and laminate flooring. New installation of preordered kitchen cabinets and tile (Home depot) throughout kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and front entrance (~450 square feet) and installation of vanity in bath. Also, two half walls (non-load bearing) will need to be removed in the kitchen.
We have purchased the corner shower stall, vanity, and toilet. Need the remainder of the floor drilled out to install the shower, then tile the floor and plumb and install vanity, heated flooring and toilet. All electrical and drywall already done but this is on basement level so drain needs to be cut out of the concrete and install. Budget is 100-500 but ok if a couple of hundred higher but not $1000
