Due to leak from wind-driven rain when rain is pushed by wind blowing from northerly direction, we've had leak from the roof at the back of the home. We need the leak checked, have new siding installed and for any rotted wood to be replaced. The professional who completes this job has to stand behind their work and make sure we are free of leaks and have peace of mind.
A few years ago, we had siding put up on a dormer. Our house is 100 years old--the roof was replaced approximately 8 years ago. Since then, there is a leak that we have tried to have fixed. But it still leaks. Ideally, the siding needs to come off, the leak needs to be patched. Previously, people would just put a bunch of caulking to temporarily fix the issue. Our house is 100 years old--the roof was replaced approximately 8 years ago.
We need:
-Siding on dormer to be taken off.
-Leak repaired.
-Bedroom ceiling patched (where the leak would come through).
Serious inquiries only, please.
Looking to side a 1950's 1.5 story brick house. Looking for a quote to strap and side with vinyl board and batten siding looking at approx 1200 sq ft of materials. Willing to entertain only doing the front of the home with the board and batten and the rest of the home with horizontal siding depending upon costs. The front window has been replaced with a bay window and the roof and soffits and eavestroughs recently replaced.
Hello,
I am looking for Vinyl Siding quotes for my home with foam board insulation installed as well.
Regular Vinyl siding and "wood" looking vinyl siding as I have no idea what the price difference would be.
I require a new front door and screen door as well but not sure if that would be a different quote request?
Thank,
Karen
One story 1890 cottage with white aluminum siding on south and west sides.
The short back portion was finsihed with white vinyl a few years ago during a patio door install and most of the side (Facing a neighbour along 3 foot alley) is insulbrick. Corner and approx 3 feet along is finished and neighbour has finished back portion they had to look at from deck. There is one window on this side. Looking for quote to complete side. White vinyl is fine...Just want to cover the insulbrick and trim window.
The aluminum siding is in pretty good shape but the finish is flat and discoloured in places - Looking for a quote and warranty on cleaning and painting both sides including shutters on front.
Two front and one side window to be replaced with thermal Low E, mullioned-style. Would prefer wind out unless there is a good reason not to use them. (Definitely don't want the tilt-in-for cleaning style...They don't stay up properly and they're ugly, too much frame - not enough window.)
One kitchen window (Driveway side) to be replaced. Same as above. Really need more natural light in kitchen but existing short, squat window limits options. Would like a quote on a skylight in kitchen. Roof is low slope. (Sorry, can't recall pitch, will check when I get home.)
Quote on solar tube installation in conventional roof through closet into basement.
Prefer to have one company (Two at most) handle job as some co-ordination will be required.
That's it!
My mother has a wood frame, bevel sided, single sectional roll up door, stand alone garage on her residential property. It's dimensions are 10.5 ft. wide X 24.3 ft. long. The garage was orginally placed on asphalt and has sunk slightly. We are looking for estimates on leveling the garage and residing it with vinyl siding. All extimates seriously considered. Thank you.
I have a 2 storey house on Hamilton Mountain. There was major wind damage done to my siding. My home insurer has agreed to pay for the complete replacement of the siding (subject to my deductible, of course).
I also want insulation put on the second floor, between the walls and the siding. I understand it comes in "boards". This will be paid for by myself, out of pocket, but since the siding has to be replaced anyway, I figured now is a good time to do it.
As well, I have a small window on the side of the house where the siding was damaged that I would like replaced. Again, this is also an out of pocet expense.
thank you.
Under roof. approx 600 square feet of area needs to have to old wood siding removed and have metal siding installed. It is a tight space (4 feet) between houses, so scaffolding will be required for the job. Also need the the back soffit (horizonal pieces under the roof) need to be covered. Needs to be done ASAP as we are leaving in mid-April.
Exterior Renovations to be completed on 100+ year old residential home. Three storey house (siding to be done on the top floor area), with additional soffit work. Hard to determine measurements, as it is very high, it is 16 and 3/4 inch ft long though, approximately 6ft high up towards the peak of the house.
Hello,
I am currently looking at quotes for siding and soffit and fascia on the front and back of my house. There is currently siding on the front and back but i want it replaced. If you could please give me an accurate quote for siding replacement. As well im not sure but i am going to guess that the vapor barrier and insulation would need replacing as well. If you could give me two quotes one for the soffit/fascia siding, and the other with the insulation and vapor barrier.
*We need a project completed as soon as possible. we had hired contractors to do the job, they started the job but haven't returned for 3 weeks now and are not responding to our inquiries. there is a portion of the house that needs insulation and siding and we need the basement completed, it was waterproofed from the inside, that job is about 75% complete.
Time is of the essence as we have portions of the house that have no insulation or siding at this point.
We have two homes we need work done on.
#1) We have a 21/2 storey rental property that we need some siding and eavesthroughs replaced and repaired on, along with a couple of windows that need to be replaced. The section we need the siding installed on is currently covered with shingles and we want to go with vinyl.
#2) We have a kitchen island we need relocated, no big deal except the basement is fully finished so the ceilings need to come out to redo the plumming and electrical. Our home is only 4 years old, basement was fully finished at the time of building the home.
We would like to have projects completed ASAP.
I have just recently purchased a home south of Centre Mall in Hamilton. The home had vinyl siding done on bottom half of home only, they never finished top part. The top is cedar shake currently and the botton in fairly new cream colour vinyl siding. The top is missing flashing and eaves. The house is a 1-1/2 story approximately 1000 square feet. I am looking to finish the job, matching the exisiting siding, with eaves corrected to take water away from house. The house is currently leaking around new windows and was leaking in livingroom but we temporarily sprayed the expanding foam where flashing is missing which is temporarily working.
I own and live in a 2.5 story century house and the back wall is bowed out in the kitchen and dining room. It is currently covered with deteriorating cedar shake shingles and I would like to have it sided with vinyl or aluminum to make it maintenance free. The area is approx 12ft wide by 30ft high.
And depending on cost I may be interested in having a couple of windows done as well (roughly 2x5 horizontals)
Thanks
Have newer siding (~2014) but some sections were too loosely or tightly installed including one area that blew off in the storm (see photo). Most recently another area was chewed through by a squirrel (no photos). Cannot afford to replace all siding/eaves (got a few quotes) so looking for help to fix up current siding and add just a few new pieces.
Due to some changes in landscaping, need to redirect a set of eaves-troughs towards front of house and require a new fascia to span the area below a peak (in photos, it is the area where the siding has fallen off).
Ideally would like to do projects together since the new fascia is needed where the siding is currently missing.
We have a brick house (circa ~1880) with an addition in the back that is approximately 60 years old. The addition has wood panel siding that has been painted. It is starting to rot/deteriorate in some places and we would like it to get looked at and potentially replaced.
We're interested to know how much it would cost to do this. The approximate total length of the siding is about 30 feet, but we would like a quote for a partial and full job (depending on whether we do spot or total replacement).
We are flexible in terms of material usage and are interested in quotes using a variety of cost-effective solutions.
Hi! I need to replace the siding on my house. The south side was damaged in the wind storm back in May. The fascia came off from the roof line & the wind blew it back & forth where it banged constantly against the vinyl siding thus damaging it as well as the soffits. I would like to explore options to upgrade to a better type of siding. The present siding is Gentyk vinyl siding in canyon clay & it is only 22 years old. I also need an estimate on eavestroughs. I need to be home when you come out for this estimate to discuss options i.e. better quality of siding & colors.
Two story home addition 25 ft x 27 ft with detached garage 24 ft x 24 ft, and front of existing bungalow 25ft x 25ft, needs Mitten's Ash D4 vinyl siding with Aluminum Soffit, Fascia, Gutters, Door/Window Caps. Looking for supply & install price with project to be completed by May 15, 2023
Upper rear dormer needs vertical (board and batten) dark grey vinyl siding (approx. 200 sq.ft.) Black metal eaves, downspouts, soffit, fascia, window capping (approx. 30ft. total eaves). Recent new roof with step flashing and ice and water wrapped up the sides of the dormer. Will likely need a new layer of plywood and Tyvek on the dormer. I have 7/16" OSB on site you are welcome to use. Very easy access to back of house from wide alleyway and 12ft wide gate. You can park trailer and equipment on site easily.
I hade a new sunroom addition built this summer but the windows and siding are improperly flashed. I need a siding professional to provide me with a quote and to preform the work to either make repairs to the existing installation or remove the existing flashing and siding and install new product to proper window flashing requirements. Remove existing roof flashing and replace with new flashing that is cut into the brick.
