My closing date on the new property is April 30th/08. I am working on getting in a couple weeks early to prepare the home.
Everything must be painted. There is a disaster of many wallpapers in the master bedroom that need to be removed.
I have never done this before and would be open to suggestions and would love the advice of an interior designer.
I am also a single mother who does not receive any financial support so money is a concern. I am working on a budget now.
I definately want to have the home painted before moving in.
Will I need to come to you - or would someone be willing to come be with colours, concepts to my home in Toronto?

Need to paint the whole place including bathroom, kitchen/living room and bedroom Looking for a quote to prime and color. Please provide quote with and without the paint. Looking for someone with experience and necessary insurance. Please reply back with additional questions.

I roughly estimate 2,000 square feet of paint surface, including living room/dining room, two bedrooms, small vestibule, kitchen ceiling and some hallway. I will provide the paint and stain. There is some repair work to the drywall seams in the kitchen ceiling because of old water damage. On the porch, the old stain is oil-based, but I can't find that anymore. It seems necessary to strip the deck and steps, but not the railing, which is still fine. The deck is about 8 ft by 8 ft. The vestibule has an interior french door, which needs painting. The living room has a bay window.
I am a project manager with a design build firm looking to network and find quotes for painting of our home projects. We have a number of projects on the go with one ready for painting in late spring and the other in late summer/early fall. Please see attached the permit drawings for 2 jobs and provide me with estimates.
I will not reply to or contact contractors who do not have a cost quote.

Hello,
I am looking to replace pre-engineered hardwood floors (floating floor) with porcelain tiles. I wish to have the floating floor removed. Approximately 400 sq feet will be removed and replaced with porcelain tile. The tile will most likely be 30X60cm in size. It has not yet been purchased.
I am also looking at having the condo unit painted. The unit is 509 sq feet. This includes living room, one bedroom, closets, ensuite landry, and one bathroom.
Please provide me with a quote only for the cost of work to be peformed.
Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you.
It is a one bedroom condo located in downtown Toronto.
The walls of the living room, bedroom. kitchen, bathroom and foyer are required to be professionally painted.
I am looking to paint the living room, foyer and bedroom with 1 color or possibly 2 colors, and the kitchen and bathroom with another color.
I would appreciate separate estimates for the following:
1. Walls only
2. Walls plus 2 closets.. one in bedroom and another in foyer)
3. baseboards
4. Trims and doors
Thanks,
96 sq ft bedroom wall which would require removal of existing 2 sheets of 5/8" and reinstallation of 2 sheets of 5/8" Quiet Roc etc. Project would include removal, disposal, purchase, installation taping/mud, prime and painting and may include insulation installation. The room has 11' ceilings and would require plastic at 2 doorways and covering for closet wall, as well as builder paper to protect flooring from the entry into and including the bedroom (room is approx 12' x 12').
I am the owner of the loft which is approx. 800 sq ft and would have to work around 2 ppl living in the loft and loft rules of working hours between 9 am- 5 pm. There is a service elevator on site and 2 large overhead doors/bays for receiving delivery/dropping off supplies.
I have a dark but fairly new and well maintained flat kitchen cabinets and I would like them refaced in lighter colours (white for the higher ones and grey for the lower ones). It is a small condo kitchen. No installation or drilling needed. we can install and take apart. Just want a durable professional finish on the doors.
We have a 700sq ft cafe in downtown Toronto. We are looking to renovate the retail area (~300 sq ft).
We'd like a quote on the full cost of renovations, which include:
- repainting the walls of retail space
- changing the front door
- millwork for 5 counters and 3 shelves, tables, chairs
We have a floor plan as well as schematics for furniture by a designer.
We are looking to begin work December 5, 2014 and the project must be completed by January 5, 2015.
On October 29th we take possession of a 2-storey house that is close to 110 years old. The previous owners kept the house in fairly good condition, however the hardwood floors in 5 of the rooms are at the end and we'd like to replace these with new hardwood or engineered hardwood floor, prefinished. In addition to those 5 rooms, the wood stairs between the main and second floor need to be refinished, and the flooring of the upstairs hallway should be replaced along with 3 bedrooms. The other two rooms to have new floors are the dining and living room. The total square footage of the rooms plus hallway is 752, and the stairs are on top of this.
We would also like to repaint the main and second floor, including room doors, closets, ceilings, front and back doors of the house. The total number of rooms is 7, plus a front foyer and the stairwell leading upstairs plus the small hallways. We would also like to paint the back of the stairs, leaving each step wood (to have a paint and wood contrast at each step.
We would like to have this work done in the first half of November. The house is in Toronto, near Dufferin and Bloor.
I need a quote for an exterior painting project for a residential home. Please see attached photo for reference and project location is in the GTA.
Here is the scope of work:
Sand/Strip/Paint everything (white trims). Paint dark grey on exterior: brick, gutter, downspout.
I have stripped and sanded but it probable needs a professional touch up. I'm looking for a quote on finishing (stain and varnish) the railings / handrail and side of the stairs. I'm going to put carpet on the steps again. I would like this to be done between the 16th and 20th of Jan.
