Shower base/ enclosure needs to be removed and replaced with new base and shower walls. If possible, I would prefer not using a base, but just installation of clear glass shower panels and door; and tiling of shower floor and walls. I don't anticipate any work on shower head or plumbing. Currently 36" square - would like to make it a bit bigger (36" x 40" or 40" square
My daughter is in a condo on Rue St. Marc with a couple of roomates and some of the grout in the tiles in the bathroom cracked leading to a leak to the ceiling in the condo below. We would like a quote for repair of the shower/bathroom tiles in our condo and replacement of a 2 metres section of ceiling wallboard in the condo unit below us.
Thanks.
I have a 3'x3' shower in my basement that leaked. It has been demoed and roughed back in with metal studs and cement board.
I need someone to install the Schluter Kerdi Drain, repair the floor, install the Schluter membrane, and then tile the shower.
I will provide all materials (I have most in hand).
The successful applicant will have experience with the Schluter Kerdi waterproofing products and be able to provide references.
I estimate that this will take 2-3 hours on 3-4 days.

Hi,
We need to have our toilet and bathroom vanity replaced and would also like to have the floor and bathtub surround tiled. I am also possibly interested in getting a medicine chest installed in the wall above the vanity although if this is too time consuming to complete - I would be happy with a simple mirror or medicine chest that hangs on the wall.
The room is less than 11x6 (3 feet wide in spaces). It is currently covered by stick-on tiles. We would like the tiles removed and ceramic installed. We will purchase materials and have them ready for the install.
You would have to remove the current vanity and toilet. The vanity has a heater installed below it which would need to be removed as the heater does not work and we will purchase a free-standing vanity to replace the current one which is built in.
We only have 1 bathroom in our home so we would want to do this renovation over a long weekend (3-4 days max) while we were away.
Would this be possible and approximately how much would this renovation cost?
Please advise,
Stacey
Hello,
My super tiny bathroom in the basement has a couple of moldy issues... I think the floor needs to be re-installed with tiles and the base of the wall has also developed some mold...
Is there someone who can only do this job for this part to be removed and replaced??
Thanks,
Linh
Main floor existing shower (1.5m x 0.8m) tiled floor to ceiling on 2 sides, half way on a 3rd side, the upper being glass. The fourth side is a wall partition and door. Membrane is leaking and requires replacing, hence, entire shower requires removing and rebuilding with correctly fitted membrane. Basement ceiling to have panels fitted underneath plumbing for maintenance.

I am the condo owner and primary resident of the unit. The walk-in shower bench was not sealed properly when constructed and need to be removed and replaced. The surrounding wall and floor need to be evaluated for any damage or lack of waterproofing and potentially also repaired.
Sizes:
The shower is roughly 3 feet x 5 feet area and 7.5 feet height.
The bench is 12" wide x 24" long x 16" high.
The bench appears to be constructed of cement board over (likely wood) structure with no waterproofing membrane and covered with mortar and tiles.
Skills Required:
- Basic demolition
- Repair construction
- Waterproofing membrane application
- Mortar, tile and grout application
Preferred Materials:
TBD based on extent of damage and work required.
If the wall/floor are not damaged it may make sense to seal them and use a pre-fabricated foam bench (Schluter for example) on top.
Hello,
I'd like to get a quote for checking if part of a kitchen wall can be removed and also another wall that is behind a sink can be lowered down. I live in a condo apartment in Nun's Island.
I'd also need the plumbing work to install a shower (there is only a tub in my bathroom but no shower) change the bathroom floor tiles and install tiles in the tub walls.
Thanks
Marcela
