Looking for online estimate.
Need to build a simple kitchen counter with dual sink. Can be laminate top or stainless steel.
U-shaped, roughly 6 feet on one side, 12 feet long on the front, and 4 feet on the other side.
Need to run plumbing from bathrooms near by to these dual sinks.
Need to have electrical outlets installed in new kitchen counter.
This is for a tea shop that I am opening. My hope is to have something similar (in usability, not looks) to a front counter of a Booster Juice.
Hopefully this is fairly straightforward,
thanks!
Hi there, I would like to have a basement kitchen renovated at 11447-79ave in Edmonton with new cupboards, a granite countertop, and a new window installed. I would like to have the work completed in August. Would it be ok to have someone from your company come and look at the work that needs to be done?
Thanks,
Paul
Bathroom renovation (and possibly kitchen renovation)
The house is a 1954 (1000 sq. ft.) bungalow located in the Ritchie area. The basement was completely renovated about 7 years ago.
I following work must to be done:
The bathroom needs to be torn down to the studs and replaced.
A new sink vanity will need to be installed.
The toilet and faucet don't need to be replaced. They are only a few years old, but the tub may have to be replaced.
In addition, I need to replace at least two windows and two doors.
The doors, windows, vanity and tub have not been purchased yet.
I am considering replacing counters and cabinets in the kitchen and replace the flooring, but this work is optional and will depend on price and timing.
I'd like to commence the renovation in October. The house will be empty during the renovation and financing has already been secured.

I am renovating a kitchen/dining room in a 30 year old 4 level split home in north east edmonton. The project requires removing a wall between the kitchen and dining room. The wall may or may not be load bearing, this is where I require a contractor with structural engineering capabilities. I need a quote to a) identify whether or not the wall is load bearing & b) if it is load bearing a price on removing the wall.
As a licensed electrician I will be performing the bulk of the work myself but require assistance with this portion of the project.

I'd like to run a catering home business and need a commercial kitchen to get a business license.
So I am looking for a house to build a commercial kitchen in the house I am going to buy.
However, I am worry if the new house I will buy has any problem to build a commercial kitchen to get a business license. The proper size of the kitchen to run my business is about 700 sq.ft.
Please someone who has an experience about building a commercial kitchen in a house basement, give me some advice and the estimate of this project.
Thank you,
Danny

Looking to completely renovate my galley style kitchen with new cupboards, counter tops and appliances. I would like to replace the sink and cabinet in the bathroom so that it matches the new material used in the kitchen.
I am also wanting to replace the laminate flooring in the unit. It currently has cheap laminate that has gapped in some places. I would like to replace the carpet in the bedroom so that there is laminate throughout the whole condo.
There is some drywall repair or replacement to be done in the bathroom on the wall opposite to the sink. It is rough and bumpy...not sure what previous owners did to it.
It is a one bedroom condo that is approx. 853 square feet. It is on the top floor of a 3 storey walk-up.
My current tenant is moving out for July 15th so I would like to take this time to renovate the unit. I am hoping to sell it instead of renting it out again once the renovations are completed. My budget is $20,000 but I would like to use some of that money to make up for the lost income during the renovation period.
Condo on the 17th floor. Looking for completion on started kitchen reno. Kitchen is small, need counter tops, cabinets, plumbing, sink install, dishwasher install (no dishwasher at present), drywall, minor framing. Looking for complete bathroom reno. Bathroom is small, need drywall, plumbing, sink install, fix leak at shut off valve, replace shower/faucet, possible toilet replacement?. Have someone to tile, need the rest.
I have recently purchased a small condominium on the 17th floor of a highrise in downtown, edmonton. The entire condo has been updated except the kitchen. The kitchen is pretty small, measuring approx 5' wide x 10' long. I am planning to order cabinets from Ikea or Home Depot. I am looking for a quote from an experienced kitchen installer only. Quote shall include removal and disposal of existing countertop, cupboards & cabinets, along with delivery and installation of new cupboards/cabinets. I have not yet decided which type of countertops to install, therefore quote should not include installation of countertop. The contractor must have experience working in highrises. (locating existing piping/electrical behind wall prior to mounting cabinets to avoid damage).
I have a six counters that require granite:
114" x 25.5" surround w/ sink
126" x 25.5" surround w/ cooktop
120" x 52" Island w/prep sink + ice trough
40" x 25.5" telephone desk
100" x 24" master ensuite w/ 2 sinks
48" x 24" downstairs washroom w/ 1 sink
The granite my wife an I have chosen is 1 1/4" Brown Antique, but it must have lots of the blue fleck, so a slab would need to be approved. Along with the granite we require a backsplash installation, but still have to figure out what to use. 6" x 12" travertine is what we're throwing around for now.
The existing home is a 2 1/2 storey home of aproximately 2100 Square feet built in 1967. Main floor exists of sunken family room, kitchen with eating area, dinning room and large living room. Also a large den, bathroom and mud area in from the garage. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms and 1 master bedroom) and two bathrooms. Master bedroom has ensuite with smaller walk-in closet.
Looking to renovate the main floor and possible addition above the kitchen and living room area. Renovation would consist of knocking out the wall between the kitchen and the dining room to make one large kitchen with large kitchen island for entertaining. Looking to have granite counter tops. Replace the existing carpet and lino with tile in the entrance and hardwood in the kitchen and carpet in the living and family rooms. Want to remodel the back entrance from the garage(mud room/laundry room) and add locker style storage and re-do the main floor bathroom.
The upstairs renovation, looking to upgrade the bathrooms and turn the existing two bathrooms and master bedroom closet into two good size bathrooms that are more functional. The question we are grappling with is whether or not to extend over top of the kitchen and living room area to add another bedroom (new master bedroom).
The renovation would be looking to replace all existing windows with new more energy efficient grade windows.
Note the house has two brand new high efficiency furnaces and the basement is finished. The ceiling in the basement is the drop ceiling with panels so easy access to the electrical, ducts and plumbing.

Install IKEA kitchen floor and wall cabinets in a 10X12 kitchen area. All demolition will be complete and you just have to assemble the cabinets and install them as well as the microwave, sink and dishwasher. For those interested I will supply a detailed parts list of cabinets to be installed to allow you to finalize your quote.
Looking to convert bar area in basement with sink into a proper kitchen. Directly above the location for the for he kitchen is main level kitchen gas stove (contractor will need to find the gas connection and split it to supply both upper level and lower level kitchens)
Will need some custom cabinets. Granite to be done by KJ Granite.
Floor to be converted from carpet to linoleum.
I need an island range hood installed. This involves moving the existing venting and electrical by about 6-12" (there used to be an undermount range hood installed before the room was opened up). I have had someone look at the attic space where the range hood is to be installed and I'm told there is a support beam in the way, but that the beam looks like it was put in later - so it may or may not be load-bearing. I have the range hood already, I'm just looking for someone to install it.
