The flooring I purchased from Brad at Above and Beyond Concepts, was a very enjoyable experience. I got exactly what I was looking for and most importantly the quality was top notch. I could not be happier with the entire process. As we all no if you choose the wrong company it can be be a total nightmare and my personal experience turned out to be a dream come true! Very happy customer for life ! Thank you Brad.

I hired A&B Concepts to install new laminate flooring in my condo. While the quote provided was not cheap, I was promised professional installers that do quality work. I had worked with Brad previously who had done a good job. Unfortunately, that’s far from the experience that I had with A&B this time. The flooring installers was Matt at Van Floors Ltd. The project began on time and finished as promised but that’s about all that went right with this project. Prior to the flooring installers showing up, the ceilings and walls were all redone. After Matt and his team left, I discovered damage to the newly redone ceiling, there was a huge gash in the sliding screen door, damage to the door frames, damage to the drywall (way above the baseboard line) and large scratches to the sliding glass door where the laminate flooring was cut. The baseboard heaters that were removed during installation were left loosely on the ground. The laminate cuts were slanted along the edge close to the wall revealing the blue underlay underneath. They could not even be bothered to clean up after themselves leaving garbage behind when they left. This was all witnessed by a few people that saw the state of the condo before Brad’s company showed up and after. I brought this up to team but received little support even though they knew I had very tight timelines for completion of this project. There was radio silence from Jenn and Brad for close to a month essentially leaving it to me to fix the problems they caused. When they did contact me again, it was to collect on their final invoice. They never took accountability for the issues they caused throughout the apartment and I did not get customer support when I needed it most. I was double charged for some items by the installer. What should have been a simple flooring remodel project turned into a nightmare that caused a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety. This project definitely didn’t have the professional installation that was quoted. In my experience this company does not care about it’s customers or if they do its selective. Financially this project cost much more than budgeted due to the issues caused and their unwillingness to rectify them in a timely manner. I regret hiring A&B concepts for this project and would not recommend them.

We are thrilled with our reno. The kitchen especially is sooo beautiful and beyond what we imagined. Thank you very much to Brad, Will, Darren, Dylan and crew for their fabulous work and professionalism, especially given the challenges of working in a pandemic. The process was painless and we couldn't be happier with the gorgeous final product.

Will Chow was assigned to oversee this home renovation. He stayed within my very tight budget. The contractors hired were very professional, absolutely meticulous with their work and in and out in a timely manner. My kitchen is above and beyond what I ever expected, thank you Darren! The floors are beyond beautiful, with not a squeak to be found! And due to my choice of white walls the very patient Danielle, got it done quickly with four coats and a smile! I love my new home thanks to Brad for assigning the very competent Will!

From the moment we stepped into their showroom, their name said it all. We contracted Brad and Rob to renovate our dream home and they did not disappoint. It all started with the flooring selection and we were so impressed by their customer service and their trust worthiness that we knew that we had found the right contractors. Every step of the process, Rob was honest and open with us from budgeting to material selection. Any issue we had was addressed right away and no matter what the issue, they made sure we were happy. Rob was available to answer any questions or concerns we had at almost any hour of the day. As many people who have gone through a renovation know, questions pop up in your head constantly through the process. While many people would complain about how stressful the renovation process can be, I can assure you, they were able to alleviate and mitigate that stress and made the renovation process an absolute pleasure. Our house is now a show stopper and a place we’re proud to call home and this wouldn’t have been possible without Above and Beyond!

Extremely friendly but person sent to dry wall & paint walls was not experienced for that particular job. Messy & unprofessional work - new vanity was placed prior to painting the wall so borders looked unprofessional. Work that was included in the contract was added again to final balance, I.e. matching tiles for bathrooms, so make sure that their contractors are experienced pros and fool proof contract for details. Would not use them again.

I wanted to write this review after about 2 weeks of the completion of my bathroom reno project. The new bathroom is now absolutely miles away from my old one. Very happy we went ahead and did this project.

ABHC has been a key to the success of this project. Right from planning to the final walkthrough, they have been very professional in their approach. Always very courteous and respectful to talk to.

Quality: I have to say that the professionals that ABHC uses are truly experts in their fields. Especially the plumbing work was done exceptionally well. I was a bit apprehensive of how they would install my bathtub after having read some horror stories online. But they did a solid job. Carpentry work was superb too. They removed the bulkhead in the shower and moved the exhaust fan's ducting around through the roof to make it hidden and give more space in the bathroom. The room now looks much bigger than before. The tiling work was exceptional. The quality of the tiles that they suggested was also very good.

Budget: They always stayed on budget. I had three changes for which they created separate change orders. They waited for my approval before starting the work.

Timeline: Here is where I think there could be some room for improvement. Because of weather conditions, worker illnesses and other factors, the original timeline of 15 days was stretched to more than a month. That was not a major problem for us - but I just wanted to make note of something they could improve on.

Cleanliness: At the end of each work day the site was cleaned. So, no issues there. The area was isolated from the rest of the house so we didn't have major dust issues.

Communication: As mentioned earlier, the project manager and all the professionals were very respectful in their communication.

We are happy with the work done by the team at Above & Beyond Concepts. We had work done by them a few years ago that we liked, and this time, while it was a different team, the work was done very well, too. We especially appreciated the quick turn-around time. We had new countertops and all the work done within 4 weeks, after the initial quote.

Brad and his crew at ABHC were absolutely amazing. They replaced my floors and baseboards throughout the house and it looks fantastic. I highly recommend ABHC, Brad was reachable at any time and Rob came through with anything I needed on site. The house looks brand new again.
