My tank was leaking hot water non stop. I was panicking so I called Button 24hr service and not even 5 min I received a call from Brandon. He then arrived in 15 mins and fixed it. I was scared and he reassured me it will be ok. He was polite and efficient. He knew what he was doing and I felt the trust. Thanks, Brandon.
Furnace broke on the coldest days. Buttons provided us heaters that helped a lot. Part had to be ordered. They found one next day and a Tech was here. Not so easy, something rusted and had to be cleaned well. Brian was awesome he didn't give up. Back the next day and did a great job. We have heat! Thank you Buttons Heating & Air Conditioning. Called Button's because I saw water collecting around our furnace. Very responsive - they set up a service call very quickly. Brendon came out, diagnosed the problem and fixed it (a clogged drain on the humidifier), and then checked all the other drains (including on the water heater as well), cleaned everything up, and did a safety check on the furnace. Brendon was great to deal with while he was here as well - and of course followed Covid protocols all the way too. As always, Button's was great to deal with!
Excellent service from sales, installation and service. Brian in sales helped us choose the furnace best for us and we had it installed in less than a week by Kris and Kyle's team. They were very professional and hard working. At the end Kris said he did not like the vibration and was going to order a replacement part. The new part was installed by Brenden 2 days after the furnace was installed. Again very professional. This was a 10/10 experience. Highly recommend Button's team for AC and Heating needs.
Right from the start Button’s was professional and personable. Todd worked with us to find the right fit for our home, and was extremely knowledgeable. My service man was Tom. He was professional on time and cleaned up any debris such as dust from the furnace left on the floor. He was highly competent. I would recommend a 10 out of 10 or five star for this service representative. It is important to feel confident about a representative maintaining your furnace. He was an excellent Communicator informing me of various parts of the Furnace which I did not know.

My electric Hot water failed in our small house. In order to replace a hot water source, while at the same freeing up some space for storage we elected to go tankless. without hesitation we chose Button's with whom we have had a very satisfactory experience over the past 15 years, (two furnances, hot water tank) at two different residences. We have found them to be totally professional in each case.
They have responded promptly to our inquiry with an appointment the same day. we negotiated the pricing and booked the job the same day.
My only criticism of the whole process, was the two week wait for installation, because of the heavy volume of jobs. All this took place during the COVID-19 pandemic so shortages and installation protocols were adversely affected.
While I didn't buy my A/C from Buttons (I didn't know about them at the time) I did buy my furnace and tankless water heater from them. So, when my A/C stopped working I called Buttons.
As with my previous experiences with Buttons, their service is great. Pat spent time trouble shooting someone else's work - we're all still rather baffled - and got everything up and running. He also installed a new thermostat for me. :-)
AC water line in furnace clogged. The repairman recognized the problem right away and emediately went to work to clear the clogs. He was efficient, reliable and fast at solving and repairing the problem. He also did a quick inspection to make sure no other damage arose from the initial problem. The cost was reasonable. I hightly recommend Button if you require your AC or furnace serviced.
We received very prompt service...the next day and the work was performed efficiently . It was done in a friendly manner and I learned something.

I would recommend their company, the sales person Todd gave the best info package for what each furnace they install. The installation team was excellent and they arrived on time and installed the furnace efficiently, cleaned the area after installation and had it completed in the half day Todd indicated. The quality of the installation was excellent also.

He made time that same afternoon to check out the situation - chimney liner cap had blown off. He did a check outside and downstairs. He said there may be damage, but, that would be checked when a technician returned.
He noted the furnace was getting on in age and may be nearing it's life expectancy.
Todd Button personally returned to examine the chimney, took photos, and determined the cap could be reattached - which he did.
He looked after the paperwork, and provided a quote for a new furnace - when that time arises.
Very pleased and grateful for Todd's workmanship, and actually doing what he said he would do. He didn't try to upsell.

Button’s Furnace & A/C Review:
Our furnace was reaching 24 years of age and not wanting to risk its failure over the winter, we decided it was time to finally replace it. After contacting Button’s, Todd came over to access our situation and determined that not only our furnace had reached end of life, but so had our A/C.
Todd selected a number of suitable options for us and went over all of the details, making recommendations and clearly outlining the pros and cons of the choices available to us, including the complete cost of each option. His approach was professional, and it was very apparent from our conversation that he has an excellent working knowledge of the equipment they deal with.
After the decisions on the specific equipment were concluded, arrangements were made for installation. The following week Buttons’ team arrived right on time, and literally rolled out the red carpet across our floor in our hallway to protect the surface as they brought equipment in and out. With the current situation of the pandemic, all members of their team observed proper COVID precautions and made us comfortable having them work in our home.
By early afternoon, the new furnace and A/C were installed and all of the old requirement removed. The workmanship was impeccable, with the installation looking more professional than what the builder had originally put in.
We have now been using the furnace for three months and are very pleased with the performance. It provides a nice balanced climate control for the house, and is truly as quiet as Todd had promised. At times it is hard to tell that it is even running.
We did have one issue several weeks after the initial installation. There was a power surge that damaged the control board for the A/C. We contacted Button’s and they responded quickly to diagnose the problem. A replacement board was ordered and installed in a timely fashion, and now everything is working correctly.
The service call gave us an opportunity to evaluate Button’s aftercare, and we were not disappointed. There were no difficulties reaching someone and a service technician was promptly assigned. The technician was very thorough diagnosing the issue, including consulting with the manufacture directly to pinpoint the failed component. The week lead time to obtain the part was not a concern as the A/C was no longer being used as it was now autumn, but we were told that they would have expedited the part had it been during the cooling season.
Overall, we would rate Button’s Heating & Air Conditioning with a full 5 stars and recommend them to anyone looking for quality workmanship from a professional team.
Button’s Water Heater Review:
This is the second time we have engaged Button’s Heating & Air Conditioning this year. After our complete satisfaction with their installation of our new HVAC system, we did not hesitate to call them when we ran into problems with our water heater.
The rental water heater control board failed for the second time in as many months. When the rental company came to repair it, the technician noted that the water heater was starting to leak and was reaching its end of life. Rather than pursue another rental unit, we decided to buy one outright. We immediately call Button’s to arrange a consultation.
Todd from Button’s came over the same day to review the project and help us select a suitable replacement unit. Within days of his visit, their crew were here to install the new water heater. Just as we found with the previous work they had done for us, the workmanship and professionalism of this company is second to none.

Buttons Heating serviced our tankless water heater in the spring. They did an excellent job, very efficient, polite and left no mess. The biggest thing for me was they arrived on time and did what they said they would do in a timely fashion. With most companies and contractors today, attention to detail and customer service are a lost art, not the case with Buttons!

The Button's guys are always awesome; polite, fast, respectful of your home, and are frequently checking your understanding of the process to see if you have any questions. Consummate professionals. They've never priced themselves out of a job for me (the 3rd time I've used them), so I've never felt that I've had to pay more to get their level of service.

The installers arrived 30 minutes early. They introduced themselves and went to work. Protective carpet was put down on our new hardwood floors into the furnace room. The furnace was installed and they cleaned up. I was informed on the instructions and operation of the water pump, humidifier and furnace. Yes we would recommend Button's Heating & Air Conditioning because now my house is HOT, HOT, HOT!

Todd Button saved the day! He came over to our house at midnight when my husband called him because our furnace was emitting a terrible smell. Todd had a team of great guys named Mike and Mike install a Daikin furnace two days later. For the first time in five years our whole house feels warm in the winter. I don't have to wear slippers and a sweater anymore! And it's much more quiet. And we can turn the heat down even lower and save money!

I was referred by home depot for buttons heating and cooling, and i liked their professionalism and service, initially Todd visited my home and very briefly discussed about various air conditioning units, on the other hand he explained about energy saving and incentives. Furthermore, the team who installed the air conditioning unit was very friendly and careful, they have covered my home stairs with dart and clean every thing after completing their work, there work was very neat and on time.

Button's Heating and Air Conditioning installed a Daikin furnace on Aug.29/16. I have been very happy with everyone from the service technician to the installers. I am looking forward to a problem free winter and cleaner air flow.
Horrible !!!! Read below. Button heating & air conditioning was sent by home depot and made a mess, damages, and not proper air conditioning install even with a second return to my home. Then called me a liar by company representative and said that everything I stated was false. Yet I have pictures and witnesses. Forced (take it or leave it settlement) that didn't even cover cost of damages
Receive no copys of invoice, paperwork for warranty on unit.
- Large pieces of wood & concrete left all over floor / stairs in basement aswell as they dust, chips. Sharp metal cut off pieces and sheet metal screws left on on floor. With install crew coffee cups,pop bottles, food wrappers,
- Crew smoking on property during install and dropping the still lite cigarettes drown the cracks of my wooden deck. Notice the leaves etc under the deck where smoking and on fire and had to be quick but out with hose.
- Crew asked to use vacume for little bit of dust. After crew left and went use use vacume noticed both the one we use for our couches/carpets was filled and jammed with large pieces of wood and concrete block and the other stainless steel wet/dry shop-vac was same motor jammed with wood concrete items and sheet metal screws. There was mess in areas of basement where crew wasn't installing. Tried to clean and clear out both vacumes but still did not work after. Wood chips/ concrete found all over kids clothes and toys in opposite end of install where vacuum left behind, like it exploded there.
- Cut off sharp pieces of sheet metal left on driveway / front entrance and inside by childrens play area / thermostat
- Large mess of concrete / wood / siding / dust left behind on my neighbors driveway.
- Some wired dark greasy stains left on house siding that does not wash off
- The furnace filter crew install was used and dirty.
- Large gaps in ductwork. So large there was no airflow to main floor. Even showed crew on there second return a week later that my hand/arm fits thew a few of the joints. The gaps where making high pitch whistle noises so loud you could hear on top floor and outside of home.
- On protective covers on electrical boxes installed with exposed wires. Asked many times to have the large hole drilled in foundation to be filled and protected from the outside elements. I ended up filling it myself and filling in the gaps on ductwork with aluminum foil tape.
- Crew did not have my new thermostat on install date and left us with dirty used one till next week return.
- Crew seemed very upset that I didn't sign the paperwork saying completely satisfied with work and that they had to come back for thermostat.
- The thermostat install company sold me for $185 plus tax. Home depot sells it for $100 and walmart for $41 !!!!
- Crew left install without turning on unit and test. I had to turn it on. Switch to furnace was left off.
- I asked crew do they wait and test unit or floor vents etc to insure working properly. They said no. They didn't look at any floor vents or air return. Spoke with many different heating / air comomany and all said to me the crew should have waited around and had tester units on floor vents to monitor and balance out the gas pressures to insure a good efficent unit and have unit around 500 microns. None of this happened with te crew. My unit was install on saturday afternoon and all I hers crew talk about was how fast can they leave and start there weekend and dates,
- Bissell vacume regal price is $229 but purchase on sale for $179 plus tax. Still needs replacing
- Stainless steel shop vac. Unsure regular price but paid $279 plus tax. Still needs replacing
We purchased and new furnace from Button's Heating and had a great experience. Our sales rep Mitch was very informative and listened to all my questions and concerns. The installation happened very quickly which worked out very well for us. The 2 gentlemen that came to install the furnace were very courteous, informative and were very mindful in keeping all areas clean. We would highly recommend anyone to deal with Button's Heating.
I had a couple of estimates to replace a very old A/C unit and decided to go with Buttons. Todd came to my home and told me everything I need to know to make an informed decision. I was treated with kindness and respect and by the time our meeting was at the half way mark I felt like family. A few days later John and his crew came to install the unit and it was so refreshing to see people who care and respect their customers. They covered my floors with tarps and walked me thru everything they were going to do to install my unit. Again I felt like family, the guys were thoughtful, funny and very professional. Having to replace my furnace (after getting my “red’ tag, which was actually white), was a daunting process, particularly when the weather suddenly turns cold. Some people will try to scare you into buying something that you really don’t need, especially when you are on your own.
Todd Button made me feel comfortable right away and repeated told me that I was under no pressure to buy and to take my time in making my decision. He explained the furnaces that he sells, and the mechanics of how a furnace works, whether the new thermostat was compatible with my phone (if not, will change it) and filters. It was a tough decision. I checked around a few HVAC companies and looked at different price points, warranties, types of furnaces -quality, service, reliability, filters and thermostats. Thank goodness for Consumer Reports.
The fact that it is a family owned business and small enough that the employees know each other is a bonus, but the quality of service and professionalism is there. The job to install furnace and air conditioner took a probably a little over half a day and the men who installed it were excellent. They did it quickly, quietly, explained everything in detail to my satisfaction and cleaned up afterwards. The fact that they don’t know what is “red” or “white” should not deter you (kidding).
The furnace is so far, so good. A bit too cold to know if the AC is okay, but I am very happy with my choice (the husky, not so much), and I don’t think you need to go much further in finding a better heating and air company. I give the company 5 stars, because I haven’t had to deal with service yet, (and hopefully other than annual maintenance, I won’t have to).

Initial evaluation of my furnace needs, including patient examination of all current and future necessary venting and connections, was most thorough, perhaps because Todd Buttons is not just a salesman but a licensed installer. The actual challenging installations, by two capable and gentlemanly young men, took all day, very tidy and clean from start to finish, a reassuring experience. Follow-up visit to assist me with furnace humidifier problem also done promptly. Buttons was recommended to me, and I have recommended them to others.
Todd's no pressure sales approach made us feel very comfortable. He was very professional and explained everything in detail from the products to the government rebates that were available. The installation was very professional. The installers were courteous and answered all my questions on the products that were installed. I highly recommend Button's Heating and A/C.

Richard was the rep sent to my home on a Sunday to address the needs of my furnace. Not only did he fix my furnace he helped me with another issue I had while in my basement. He offered to help me address a water leak and turned off the water where the leak was coming from. He moved boxes out of the pool of water to prevent further damage. The Buttons are lucky to have this young man in their employ.
We just had our Furnace, Air Conditioner and Water Heater installed by Button's Heating. They are punctual,informative,professional installers and they leave your house spotless when the job is done. After our furnace broke down I called Button's because we have previous positive experience with them. The technician was here in no time. After being told what was wrong and how much it might cost, I availed myself of the OPA rebates and the Daikin manufacturer promotion. A few days later I had a new furnace and air conditioner, both quieter and far more efficient than the outgoing, completely installed and tested by the time I got home from work. True to Button's form, all the lines and pipes were run neatly, and the jobsite was left spotless. Everyone was extremely courteous and friendly too!
The team of technicians that removed the defective furnace and installed the new furnace were highly skilled and very organized. The lead technician provided the home owner with a detailed explanation on how the work would be done, what changes would be made regarding piping, how the furnace functions which included a visual show and tell session.
This was a big project and involved installation of a furnace, A/C, and extensive ductwork. Joe Button put everything that I asked for in writing. He was the best of all three contractors that we asked to bid because he spent time inspecting the house, asking us questions so that he really understood what we were looking for. His team showed up on the day that they said they would and put drop sheets down to protect our flooring. The Button's team was always courteous and pleasant. There were no surprises in the cost of the project.

Joe Buttons is more than a salesperson. He did a propper needs assesment. It turned out I did not need what I wanted. That saved me a lot of money, and I found out why they have the expertice. They do this every day.
The installers were kind and courteous. They put dowm mats to keep my floors clean and protected. At times there was a crew of five people here; each with his own area of responsibility and expertise.
I am a very experienced tradesman and I am often cynical of contractors. I asked for advice and it was sound. They provided some much needed training and their work quality was neat and first class.

We got a couple quotes for a new install of a high eff furnace, a/c, power vented hot water heater, air filtration system and humidifier. Button's Heating did a phenomenal job in all respects, from sales, installation and follow up. Todd's no pressure sales approach made us feel very comfortable and was able to meet with us despite our children's busy sports schedules. He explained everything in detail from the equipment to the government rebates that we are going to get. Always on time and always on point from the sales meetings to the installation days and follow up meeting. Even when our peaksaver thermostat was acting up they even called the peaksaver tech for us and waited for their service tech to come and fix the thermostat to make sure our whole system was running perfectly. Todd, Trevor and Jonathan, the installers, did a top notch job and Marcel was great in helping with trouble shooting the thermostat and providing great info on our ducts. Not only do they perform exceptional work but they are there for any questions or trouble that you may have regarding your HVAC system.

The gang at Button's did a great job on the the replacment of my 30 year old furnace and 15 year old water heater on Jan 23rd 2012. The Salesman Pete was a hoot. He was prompt, knowledgeable, flexible and had a good sense of humour. He got the ball rolling with the Energy audit as well as the installation date. Todd and Rob came in on time and worked troughout the day. They ensured our floors were protected and did a great job cleaning up. They kept me in the loop as they progressed and answered all my questions when I critiqued their work ;-). Their experience showed in the manner in which they worked and the quality and neatness of the job they did. I was very pleased with this. Their price was a bit higher than others but I was drawn to the fact that the company had years of experience behind them, was a family owned and run business and carried a great product in TRANE.
