Hello Anthony,

For the size of house 1.5 tonnage will do the job

And price with basic install would be $2300 to $2600 plus taxes

That price is for a mid range brand

Warranty would be one full year labour ten years on parts from manufacture.

For higher end brand your loking at $2950 to $3200 + tax .. same warranty as above.

Hi Anthony,

Unfortunately, house size is only one piece of the equation. You have to also consider brand, SEER ratings, etc.

Thank you for the reply.

When you say high end brand does that mean it's high efficiency? Because we are particularly aiming for HE.

And for the price, does that include instalment?

Renee,

Do you have an estimate of the overall expense (labor, materials, installment, etc)?

Thanks

For a 1.5 ton 13 seer unit you're looking at 2800 + tax. That's including full installation, equipment and the electrical line needed from the panel to the AC.

Have a good night.

Our builder said that for that kind of square footage, we needed the 2 1/2 tonnage 13 SEER and they're charging $4,995 + tax. Is that right?
