This was our third renovation with Germano Creative and I was more than pleased with the finish look. Not only was the renovation completed one week ahead of schedule, it came in on budget. It doesn't look like the same space. The ceilings feel so much higher, there is so much light it doesn't feel like a basement. They worked with us to ensure we came in on budget - not many contractors will do that. All the trades that work for Germano went above and beyond as well to ensure we were getting top quality service and what we wanted. The finished look went beyond our expectations- clean, simple round corners; tonnes of light; lots of outlets; the HVAC is as high as it can go! This was our first experience hiring a contractor and we couldn’t have chosen a better person than Suzette. Of the three quotes we asked for, hers was the most detailed and outlined everything. She was also the only one to offer us great alternative ideas which ended up saving us money. Suzette and Lilliane prepped our house and made sure every item from tiles, to flooring, to shower glass and fixtures was on site well before it was needed by the tradespeople so there was zero wasted time waiting for materials to be delivered. The tradespeople Suzette uses are top notch professionals who were tidy, courteous, efficient, and do the most excellent work. The work site was always clean and hazard free. Our renovations began September 9th as contracted. We were using our bathrooms by October 9th. Suzette our contractor has the ability to organize all the sub contractors that are needed at the right time to do their part in the renovation. I was amazed with her professionalism and her sincerity throughout the renovation. It wasn’t smooth sailing because with any renovation once the walls are down there can be issues. We had one but between Suzette and the plumber Robert a solution was found and I was thrilled with that. The plumber Robert, the dry waller Steve, the electrician Ken, the tiler Darius, the floor installer Paul, the carpenter Philip and the incredible painter Ed were all amazing with their skills. Suzette, Lillian and Maggie were here for me to resolve any issues, cleaning up when needed. Three fantastic women. Suzette knows the work needed and how to get it done in a timely way. She stays in touch constantly so you know who is coming to your home and what is happening. The result is I have two beautiful bathrooms. Thank you Suzette and all your team.

Germano did a fantastic job with the work on our bathrooms and installing our new lighting fixture. We were very happy with the work. Very friendly, Great communication, on time and on budget. They went the extra mile completing the work with the lighting. We liked that they used experienced contractors to perform the roofing and electrical work required. Germano Creative recently performed some much needed renovations at our restaurant. They were prompt with delivery of our needs, finding hard to get high-quality craftsmen at a reasonable cost. The work was done in a timely, professional manner.

Suzette and Lilliane followed up all the way through from quotation to completion making sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted with not even the tiniest detail overlooked.

Couldn't be more happy with our new Bathroom!! We had Suzette do our Kitchen 5 years ago and were so pleased with it, that we certainly called her back for this job!! It is our only bathroom, so we had to move out for a few weeks but she had it done as promised and left it sparkling clean. Cleaner than I would of that's for sure. I highly recommend this company for any job. Very professional and never make a mess. Covers everything so no other part of the house gets to dirty. Tells you everyday what the plan is for that day. All of her workers are very polite and professional as well. Suzette is like one of the family and she checks in on the job everyday to make sure things are running smooth and on schedule. I still touch base with her once and a while to see how she is!! That's how comfortable I am with her!!

You will know exactly what and when items are to be worked on and completed. If there is anything not in the contract they will contact you before proceeding to ensure that there are not surprises. You will also be made aware if there are any CREDITS yes I said CREDITS if the amount of material quoted is reduced there will be CREDIT against your final bill. Suzette and her daughter Lilliane were very professional and stayed in contact by phone and by attending the renovations very regularly and were extremely helpful in making design decisions. All the contractors they used were also very professional and did a wonderful job. The entire job was finished a month early, looks amazing and we can see the quality work. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to renovate.

Our experience was wonderful. Suzette and her team were great to work with. She gave us a schedule ahead of time. Liked that we knew ahead what to expect. Who was coming when and why. The whole team were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and clean. We were that couple that was once bitten twice shy and highly recommend Germano Creative Interior.

My wife and I hired Germano Creative Interior Contracting Inc to remodel our main bathroom and powder room. From the the very first visit, it was clear that Suzette was a detail oriented professional. Her work and the work of her team over the course of the project confirmed this. There is no way to to do an unobtrusive renovation to a house; it is by the very nature of the job, a major upheaval. Having said that, Suzette and her team did their utmost to keep the work from impacting other areas of our home. I don’t think there was anything more she could have done to reduce the impact of the project on our daily lives at home.

The project itself for the most part, went very smoothly. But even during the inevitable “hiccups” in the project, I was impressed with Suzette’s unrelenting perfectionism; the first bathtub we ordered did not meet with her standards, so she sent it back and got another. When that one also proved unsatisfactory, she concluded that it was the design of the tub itself that was poor and asked us to pick a different tub. When we came back with a another tub we liked, she went out to the store to inspect it before having it delivered to make sure this one met with her high standards.

Another time, my wife decided that the colour she’d requested for the powder room walls didn’t look as she’d imagined it would and asked if we could change the colour. Within 12 hours of that conversation, the room had been repainted.

The finished rooms look like something from a high end decorating magazine and we couldn’t be happier.

I would unhesitatingly and unreservedly recommend Germano Creative Interior Contracting Inc to anyone who wants to upgrade their home interior.

We are extremely pleased with the bathroom renovations that were completed by Suzette and her team. They are extremely tidy and respectful. Her trades people are very knowledgeable and have solutions to any and every problem that can arise. Suzette truly puts her clients first as we had one or two other issues that came up in our home and she helped us fix them and for a very reasonable cost. Having Suzette in our home was a pleasure and hopefully one day we can have her back to do other renovations in our home.

Second time working with Germano and once again, it was amazing! Love the work and love my bathroom. They were a pleasure to work with, including all her trades. Very clean, neat, thorough and didn't hesitate to confirm details with me to ensure it was what I wanted. She even went as far as sending me a video because we were away for 2 weeks during the renovation and showed me the layout of the tiles on the main feature wall, and what they looked liked when sealed. They look after all the small details! Will definitely hire Germano again for my basement renovations in a year or so.

Suzette and her team were amazing! From the first meeting right up until completion Suzette was always available - very knowledgeable and was always looking out for my best interests. Communication was great - I never had to follow up and always had an update on what was happening and also a schedule of what was coming next. I have heard horror stories from people about contractors and renovations but my experience was the opposite. Even though it was a major renovation (complete kitchen and laundry room remodel) it moved along quickly and stayed on schedule. The end result was everything I could hope for - it is a complete transformation, very functional and looks great!

I had an excellent experience with Germano Creative Interior Contracting when they renovated our basement from an unfinished to completely finished state. Along with the excellent finished quality of the work they did for us a few things are worth mentioning:

1. Willingness to revise the quote was amazing. Suzette worked with us to find the right scope of work for our renovation that was in our budget and we were able to provide some materials ourselves when we already had them or found them "on the cheap".

2. Detailed quote so we could make an informed decision and compare cost and scope easily to other quotes we received. It wasn't the cheapest quote we received but I had the most confidence that this quote would be true to the amount of work required.

3. Stayed ON BUDGET. Not only was the quote detailed but we got what we expected and paid exactly what we expected to pay.

4. Great people. Suzette, Lilliane and the crews were courteous, clean, respectful and skilled at their work.

Our basement was completed on-time and within the budget/quotation. Suzette's project management skills show; getting the right people/supplies/inspections in an order that made the job go smoothly. She managed to keep the "promised" end date, even after a delayed start.

Her standard materials are above others who quoted for our job. But the difference is well worth it (you get what you pay for). Her contractors were curious and respected our house/family while working. I highly recommend Germano (Suzette & Liili) and would definitely hire them again for any future renovations.

Basement Renovation June-July 2016

We have never done a renovation before and I must say, I have nothing but positive comments about Germano Creative! They made this kitchen reno during the winter a very “easy” experience. We were thrilled with the quality of the work, being on schedule and coming in on budget. Her staff are some of the nicest and cleanest trades I have ever seen. Every night my house was clean and it made the renovations a much better experience that we ever thought. I would recommend her services to anyone that is looking to change things in a house. I will definitely be hiring Germano again in the very near future for more renovations!

Suzette was very helpful in assisting me with my bathroom renovations from beginning to end. The plumbing contractor showed up at 7:30 AM Monday morning and both my bathrooms were completed by 4:00 PM Wednesday afternoon. I could not be more satisfied and do not hesitate to refer Suzette to anyone who wants renovations done. I am looking forward to doing more renovations with Suzette this year.

I could not have asked for a better contractor. Although they were busy, it was well worth the wait. We had Suzette finish our basement and she did a beautiful job! From start to finish she was very professional, answered any questions we had right away! She had a schedule which was followed with no delays. An absolute pleasure to work with! We're so happy with the final results! We have already recommended her to others and would definitely use her again!

Suzette and her crew were amazing! We moved to a 45 year old house with one very old bathroom upstairs. Suzette helped us design the layout that would work out best to turn 1 very old bathroom into 2 very modern ones. The results are stunning, everyone comments on how good they look. From the construction work they did before the cosmetic touches to the look of everything (like a spa!). Her ideas were always good and she had our budget in mind at all times.

Everyone went above and beyond, from fixing the rafters before putting new ceilings, to fixing the water through the softener so we would have soft water in the bathrooms. She also had her people do the taping and muddying in other areas of the house we wanted when they were doing the bathrooms, and the prices for all the extra work were good.

Awesome person, very respectable crew, impeccable work, considerate of the budget, and good prices. I will definitely contact her again for all the other work we will be doing in the house in the future.

We needed a bedroom for family visits and I needed an appropriate area for my sewing and machine embroidery work. We chose Suzette because her estimate was detailed, down to the hinges on the doors, and we felt comfortable that there would be no extra charges that would sneak in, except for changes that we specifically requested. Suzette gave us a schedule when things would be done and everything happened exactly as we were told. When we signed the contract, we even knew when the final inspection would take place. We didn't need to be critical of workmanship because Suzette was far more demanding of her subcontractors than we could ever be. If we have another renovation done in our home, we won't even tender contracts. We will call Suzette.

Suzette and her team took our basement from a useless concrete storage room to a beautiful living space, office, bathroom and laundry room. It was a big job that involved taking out a well, digging out floors and removing walls. Suzette kept us on time and updated us daily on who was going to be working on the project.The project involved many different trades, including concrete work, drywall,painters, tile work, you name it. Suzette kept them all on schedule. We would definitely recommend Germano Creative Interior Contracting and use them for future projects.

I would highly recommend Germano Creative Interior Contracting Ltd. to anyone who is looking for a contractor to manage any renovation projects. They completed the finishing of the unfinished basement level of my home and I am so happy with how it turned out. Suzette was enjoyable to work with and I appreciated her suggestions and recommendations, including pointing out what would improve the value of the home for resale in the future and also making suggestions as to options to limit costs when selecting features and finishes. I had very little idea as to how I wanted to complete the basement and Suzette's suggestions made me feel confident with the decisions that I made and now the basement looks great and may just be the best level in my home!

Suzette was my one point of contact and she then scheduled and dealt with all the sub-trades. After 3 years of researching and completing a list of needed renovations, reading reviews and getting advice, we met with 3 contractors. We were ultimately and immediately most impressed with Suzette and contracted Germano Creative Interiors for renovations throughout the spring and summer of 2015. Throughout the process Suzette was always very organized and never failed to communicate what we could expect in advance and during every stage of the project. She worked with us to keep costs down and guided us on jobs we chose to do on our own. Her attention to detail and experience with her tradesmen gave us confidence that each project was completed with accuracy. She has excellent skills in recommending a course of action in reno's or design and is highly communicative so everyone is on the same page and all expectations are met. Every room in our home had some level of work done, some to correct the builders errors and other rooms were completely gutted and redesigned. Suzette was very generous with her time to create a relationship so she could determine our sense of style (or lack of!), then assess our comfort level when it came to financial decisions. This was extremely helpful when sourcing out materials as well as problem solving. We often sought out and readily took her advice especially on design, colour choices and practicality. Can't say enough about her work ethic nor quality of work. If you have any reservations about hiring a woman to do a contracting job, rest assured you have the right man for the job! From the moment we had our first consultation to the very last full inspection, Suzzette and her team were very professional, courteous, and easy to work with. She even made sure there was no work being done during our new-borns nap time.

Germano Creative Interior was hired to do a compete renovation of our washroom (a difficult space), replace all baseboards, trim and inside doors on the main level, 1 exterior door, paint kitchen and living room, and install a few updated fixtures.

From the moment Suzette first met with us, my husband and I had a good feeling about her. She was knowledgeable and thorough when looking at the scope of the project. She was up front in her assessment of some of the work to be done, suggesting in one case it needed to be done "right", unlike another contractor who suggested we try and hide the issue. Suzette did not try to low ball the amount of time the renovation was going to take, and was up front with that as well.

Not only does Suzette have the knowledge of the physical space and the construction end of it, but she also has an eye for the design elements of the space which was very helpful. She could visualize what would look good and made suggestions, but was very clear that we were in the driver seat as to what the final decisions were. More often than not, we went with her suggestions and are glad we did. The transformation is amazing!!!

Suzette kept the trades on time, continually updated us as to what happened that day or would happen the next day. She is friendly, competent, goes way above and beyond and her customer service is impeccable. During the messy parts, Suzette and her daughter came to clean up after the trades left each day and at the end of the job did the most thorough clean I have ever experienced. Her attention to detail is amazing.

We have already recommended Suzette and Germano Creative Interior to others and will continue to do so. She takes great pride in her work and it shows. We would not hesitate to choose Suzette and her company as a contractor again.

The floor tiles are loose, cracking, and the grout is coming out. The tiles were not laid properly or installed correctly. The framing was poorly executed (not square). I spoke to Suzette about my concerns and all I received were arguments and she blamed everyone except here workers. I am extremely disappointed with the end result. I would not recommend this contractor to a friend or an enemy.

Suzette and her team did an excellent job and would not hesitate to use them again. I still get compliments on my basement. Suzette's experience and her work ethics are apparent in the finished product. I am still amazed that the work site was cleaned every night after the trades where in and the project was finished ON TIME.!!!!

Suzette worked with us every step of the way from quotation to completed project, understanding our every need and wish, keeping the work on time and within budget. When there were choices available she made recommendations that suited our needs and wallet perfectly. Her choice of subcontractors was perfect, best craftsmanship and highest quality with very reasonable price. She worked with us to allow our participation where our skills (plumbing and painting) integrated with the other subs. Our basement is beautiful, functional and will last a long time.

I can't say enough about this company and their professionalism. I was very impressed and extremely happy with my kitchen and all the other things I added on because I felt so much confidence that it would be done properly. Suzette e-mailed us every night to let us know what would be happening the next day. Our job was completed when promised.She was so friendly, it was like talking to one of my family every time I saw her. She is also on site everyday making sure her workers are doing what is expected of them. My reno was completed in Oct/13 and I just "LOVE" my new kitchen, my whole new painted house, new baseboards,crown mouldings etc.The price I paid was also a phenominal great price!! Couldn't compare, It was better than any other quotes I received . Suzette even went with us to pick out our floors, counters, backsplashes and all borders. If I ever decide to do more renovations, she would be the first person I call. My Brother also had jobs done by her and was very satisfied as well. Again, I found Suzette to be honest and professional. Her attention to detail in preparing the proposal, in daily project updates, and in the final price breakdown, was very much appreciated. I always knew what was happening, when, as Suzette would, daily, either be here on site or email updates.

She seemed to know that I was uncomfortable choosing some design items as I have difficulty "envisioning" the final look. To my surprise, Suzette took me shopping for tile and granite and helped me choose what, ultimately, looks wonderful! I so much appreciated this advice and "personal" touch.

If, however, you want a company that comes in and, right from the very beginning, works with you to achieve the results that YOU imagine, then Germano deserves your attention.

From the moment Suzette walked into our home, we had an intuitive sense that we would work well together. She took way more time than any other company in the beginning stages of listening, measuring and planning the best possible use of our space.

From the very beginning of the project to the end (today!) Suzette kept us informed of work schedules, who would be coming and going and when she would be on site. She provided daily updates and gave us ample time to make decisions that needed to be made along the way.

The worksite was cleaned at the end of each day and we were able to live our lives without worrying about what was happening downstairs.

Suzette worked with the Town on parking easements, permits and inspections. This was truly her project.

You often hear about projects going overtime and over budget. In our case, Suzette kept both on track and our project has been completed on time and on budget!

But there are two very important things with which I'm walking away. First, we have a basement that we're very proud of. The attention to detail and finesse along the way has left us looking forward to many years of living in this space.

Second, we have developed a relationship with someone who is passionate about their work, knows their stuff and has a great eye for design.

For our next project, we will skipping the search and estimate phase and contacting Germano Construction!

What I love about Suzette is that she doesn't just take your plans and execute. She makes sure that they make sense. She provides you with her advice and explains why she would recommend certain changes. She is also very detail orientated, a good communicator, and she always follows up on what her tradespeople are doing to ensure that it is top quality. Our basement reno turned out fantastic! It was a self-contained apartment for my in-laws, complete with kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom (with laundry). Details like rounded wall corners (so the kids running down the hall don't catch a corner) were always great. The materials and workmanship were top-notch. The project finished on time and on budget, since every change that is made (whether additions or subtractions) are catalogued as they are made. The price wasn't the cheapest of all of the quotes we got, but the saying "you get what you pay for" is pretty true and your home is perhaps your biggest investment. We would have liked Suzette to be the one to finish the last room (removed from the original work due to financial constraints), but the cost was too much to bring everyone in from Guelph. One thing I would like to see is a team of tradespeople more local to the GTA, so that small jobs could be done at a better price point. We would recommend Suzette and her team to anyone doing a reno in the GTA (West).

Suzette was very responsive and stayed on top of her contractors to ensure that I was satisfied with the services. The most important aspect of my experience was Suzette's diligence in addressing issues after the work was finished. Every project has touch ups and minor flaws - the key is how they are addressed. Suzette stayed on top of me and her contractors to make sure that any concerns I had were addressed as promptly as possible. I recommend her company!

We very much enjoyed working with Germano , they are very professional and knowledgable about the business. The Owner Suzzette is extremely hard working and always available to discuss the project , we were very pleased especially with the creativity that Suzette brought to the process.

We have worked with Germano on a couple of occasions - once with the complete renovation of our basement ( Full bedroom , ensuite bathroom , game room , Bar , stone fireplace and large sitting room) and the other occasion was a complete tear down and replace of the main washroom . We worked with Suzette in the past to have our basement renovated. Since then, we have worked with other contractors in our new home, for both external and internal work and Suzette is by far the best contractor we have ever dealt with.

I am so pleased with the installation of bamboo flooring and baseboards on the main level in my home. Suzette impressed me on our very first visit . Not knowing how to continue, and asking very basic questions, she answered these thoroughly and in a manner that I understood. I found Suzette a professional, caring and friendly individual. Germano Creative were a pleasure to have in our home. The sub-contractors were all very courteous and the quality of their work was excellent. The finished bathroom was exactly what my husband and I had envisioned. Suzette was always ready to consult with us and to ensure that what we reguested was accomplished . Dealing with Suzette was the best experience my wife & I have had with a contractor. We spent a lot of time with Suzette before finalizing the renovations, she was very patient with us and offered valuable & insightfull ideas & suggestions for us to consider. During the construction schedule Suzette would take the time (at the end of every day) to send us an email covering the days progress, any minor hurdles they encountered and what they would be working on the next day. We looked forward to reading these summaries every night, it was great and we felt very connected to the project. I was scared when it came time to finish my basement because I had no idea who should I hire that would be truthful and competent towards my project, but I rested all my worries when I got a reference to contact Germano Creative. My contractor was able to run my ideas, add new and better ones, inspector and/or correct any difficulties, keep in touch with us at all times and finish the project within the established time.

I can say that for being my first time in running a project this big, I was satisfied with the overall results.
