Called Halo electrical they had a guy show up the same day and fixed my light problem. Great response time, great quality of service and Bob the electrician was great.

I did a major kitchen renovation and asked Kevin to do the electrical work required to hook up my appliances and lighting fixtures. I found Kevin and his staff to be very prompt, thorough and responsive. I’m glad I used this site to find him.

I would highly recommend them for any electrical projects.

I found Halo Power Solutions via a Google search and this site. Seeing that they were local to our area and had several great reviews I gave them a call.

Kevin, the owner, came over to assess our situation and even fixed a few troublesome outlets/switches during his initial visit. He quoted a price and gave us a timeline for the work to be done a few weeks later.

As he went through with the job he found more issues than he expected to find so the final cost was a little over the quote which made sense due to needing to replace more receptacles/switches than originally anticipated.

After the work was completed he lined up the inspection and sent the necessary paperwork to our insurance company on our behalf.

Kevin was great to deal with. He showed up to do the work when he said he would. He was very personable as I took a few days off to "help out" and he even took the time to show me what/why things needed to be fixed/replaced.

I would definitely recommend Kevin and Halo Power Solutions and would not hesitate to call them again if we ever need any electrical work done in the future.

Over the last year I have had the opportunity to meet and network with Kevin Staigh, owner of Halo Power, in a networking group called BNI Fortune Builders.

I had asked him a couple questions and thought it would be good to have him come to my house and look at my garage heater as it was causing some wall damage. At the same time, I was replacing a porch light with a new fixture and with my electrical know how, I thought it would be best for the expert to do it. Not long into the replacement, he noticed the wire to be aluminum, which is not used anymore. The outer sheath had crumbled in his hands. You could see the worry on his face and he wanted to see if the wiring leading from that was in the same condition in the house…it was. Going through options, nothing sounded cheap, but his concern for my wellbeing in the house made me realize it was important and something had to be done.

Long story short, he helped me out that day, didn’t charge me and returned to put in a breaker that would catch any shorts or arching from that area of the house.

He doesn’t just come in and do the job and leave, he makes sure that everything he touches and sees is inspected and done correctly. I would never trust anyone else to come into my home to repair electrical issues unless it is Kevin Staigh and Halo Power. Kevin with Halo was great to deal with, and provided an estimate and completed my job in a timely manner. Highly recommended.

Kevin and his team were very professional. They communicated well throughout the process, explaining the different options where applicable. They completed the work in a timely fashion and cleaned everything up when they were done. No surprises with the bill, price was as expected as per the quote. Bought a newer home and wanted a few changes to the power in the basement and detached garage. Project was done on the day promised and at the price quoted, with a few last minute additions initiated by me but their cost was minimal. Very easy to work with Kevin and his apprentice. Kevin is a highly professional and knowledgable electrician. He genuinely took the time to describe and discuss the electrical issues in our home with us in a clear and concise way. He was efficient and diligent in his work, and also very kind and highly personable.

Kevin and his journeyman helped accommodate us by letting us know exactly when power would be off in our home, and they worked quickly with epcor and the city to get approval for our new panel and restoration of electricity. Kevin always cleaned up in areas where he had done work. He clearly described safety concerns with our old electrical panel and wiring, and also showed us objective reasoning for such concerns in order for us to understand them. We had also decided to switch our existing bulbs and fixtures throughout the house to LED. Kevin went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the choices of lighting.

Halo provided electrical services to my new detached shop and handled everything from the permitting, inspections, utility company communication, new installation from the transformer and provided all underground, lights (indoor and outdoor), receptacles, welding and compressor power.

I had tried to hire an electrical contractor with little success. Either they did not reply or called once but never called again. I researched on-line and contacted Kevin through his web site. He was quick to reply and come to Morinville to look at the job. He arranged for all the permits, inspection and subcontractor. When the work was carried out he and his apprentice did a great! job. Kevin did not speak down to me when explaining the work to be done and inspection requirements. After all the snow etc., he came back to fill in the trench/mud and offered to come back in the Spring to do some more work on the trench area.

I would and have recommended him to others.
