Jeff Chugg is without a doubt the best contractor I have ever worked with.

I’ve known Jeff Chugg for over five years and I have depended on his skill and expertise in a number of projects. A kitchen reno in an older house presented a number of unforeseen problems with mould, asbestos insulation, rotting sill plate and some electrical and plumbing issues. “I can fix that” was always his response when faced with any difficult situation. And the job was done, quickly and expertly. I have had two roofs replaced, one after a catastrophic leak in December 2018. I’ve had a large two-storey front porch essentially rebuilt from the foundation and a number of other smaller jobs done by Jeff. He is professional, highly-skilled and dependable !!!!!

Work was done in 2 days, Jeff is professional, onsite, tells us exactly what needed to be done, and answered any questions or concerns we had. His crew was great, polite, and friendly. Work site was cleaned out with nothing left to do. They were able to reinstall our 2 satellites with no problems. Would highly recommend.

In 2015 Jeff and his team built us a new 4 season back porch, replaced the footings that had become crooked, installed heated floors and spray foam insulated. They also installed a dry well. They did great work and showed up when they said they would and worked fast. They were very collaborative too. We would have hired them for more work but Jeff is a very hard person to get a hold of. He does not reply when I leave a message or email.

This summer I contacted Chugg Construction about a quote to replace my Mother's 35 year old retaining wall. I had gone on line to find a company and Jeff contacted me right away and was quick to come out and give me a quote. We found the quote reasonable and agreed to have his company do the work.

Unfortunately the weather did not co-operate so several weeks went by before the wall was able to be constructed but Jeff kept in touch with me assuring me the wall would be done. In early June his crew showed up and did a great job. They were very friendly and respectful of the property and cleaned up every day before going home. At the end of the job they replaced the sod that was removed during construction. They even threw down grass seed to repair the bald spots on the lawn which with all the rain has producted a lovely green lawn.

The wall looks great so thanks Jeff for a job well done.

We hired J. Chugg Construction for our kitchen renovation and are pleased to say Jeff and his guys did an excellent job. We now have a beautiful new kitchen that we can really enjoy. We have an older house that used to be a cottage and there have been all kinds of challenges with any renovation we've had done in the past. We wish we'd discovered Jeff earlier in our renovation process because his guys do it all and do it right and it could have made our lives a lot easier. With our kitchen renovation, we had to basically gut the entire kitchen. In the process Jeff uncovered some issues with our exterior wall and the guys rebuilt the wall and spray foamed it before putting up the new drywall. We really appreciated the fact that he didn't just ignore the problem. We had a few other issues that Jeff discovered that had to be addressed right away - attic insulation and dry-rot in a crawlspace beam - and Jeff and his guys were able to take care of these problems for us. We would definitely use J. Chugg Construction for future renovations.

Found Jeff Chugg through his website. Jeff came next day to review job & a give a quote. We hired Jeff to remove & replace existing insulation in attic and install new roof. Jeff was present all the time the work was being done. Job was started and completed on time. All workers were polite and extremely courteous, and jobsite was well cleaned up. We were very pleased with work and would recommend him highly.

My husband hired J.Chugg Construction through word of mouth last fall and we would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to have home renovations done! We are so proud of our renovated and finished basement. The project was started and completed in the timeframe promised which made life for us so much easier. Thanks again Jeff.
