My wife and I hired Jason for a complete bathroom renovation. Ours was dated from the 70’s and desperately needed an update.
After interviewing a few contractors we decided to hire Jason to do the renovation. He quoted a fair price and to have it completed in 3 weeks.
It was our only shower in the house so the deadline was important. Especially with a young child at home.
The demo went smoothly but soon after Jason started missing days and wouldn’t show up till after 10 and 11am. The deadline went over buy weeks.
When we finally thought the bathroom was finished it looked great. But, we found out the door to the bathroom wasn’t installed correctly and wouldn’t close.
The tub drain wasn’t sealed correctly and drained into our office below damaging the roof. Which nothing was done about.
After several attempts the drain was fixed. Then the grout in the shower fell out which he replaced with silicone caulking which didn’t even match the grout color.
Recently the floating vanity he installed ripped out from the wall and crashed to the tile floor. We brought in someone else to fix it and upon inspection the vanity was only hung by drywall plugs and not into the 2x4 beams.
I would not recommend Jason as a contractor for any renovation. This was supposed to be an amazing bathroom and has been nothing but a nightmare.
