A project that was supposed to be 8 weeks is now more 3 months and counting. Project manager would have so many reasons why, however, I think if they were more pro-active and would take responsibility, timeline could have been met or at least delays will be shorter. You will need to be patient on following up on status and sending same text messages to get noticed and get a call back from the project manager. Expect work to start at 11 and end at 3 on days that they show up. If you have time to learn from mistakes with jobs not done correct the first time then, this company might work for you.
Rizzo arrived exactly at the booked time. He was polite and friendly. He did an excellent job, his rate was very reasonable and clean up was very good. I would gladly recommend him for a job and/or quote.
JDesigners was hired to execute Basement Walkout work.JDesigners sub-contracted the entire work. The sub-contractor is ineffective in planning (resources, equipments and materials). The work was originally scheduled for 3 weeks, but it took more than 4months with some work remaining per contract. Most of the time, sub-contractor is working on this job only as a spill over work, and concentrating only on other projects. No proper communication maintained and many days no one was at work. The project in chage from JDesigners was updated the progress very clearly, who is very co-operative, but not having any control over the sub-contractors. The issue was discussed many times but the sub-contractor was not listening. The sub-contractor arranged by JDesigners is not having adequate experience and could not overcome any challenges during the execution of work, and many times ended with rework. Jdesigners took initiative and arranged another sub-contractor after a several request to progress the basement walkout project. With some work remaining, they could execute most of the walkout work successfully after >4months. JDesigners must use their own resources and supervision to execute the project or use experienced sub-contractors with JDesigners field supervision for effective planning and execution of projects. The positive noted is JDesigners project in charge took accountability to progress this work. JDesigners have shown accountability, co-operation and ownership, irrespective of such a delay.
