My sister and I seeked out Optibuild to convert a house we purchased into a legal Duplex. The scope was to create permit drawings and apply for building permit, take down a load baring wall, create a laundry/dryer room where stairs used to be, completely fire proof basement unit and replace windows. All the work was completed on time and on budget and house was always left clean and respectful. John even did some minor jobs to improve the overall appearance of the house without asking for extras. Would recommend and use Optibuild again in the future.

Optibuild Design Inc. was the successful bidder on my condo renovation and I was very pleased with both the process and the result. John Faller was profession, direct and knowledgeable. The contract he prepared for us was very concise and complete. When decisions had to be made or changed, I was contacted immediately. He offered advice when it was needed but was also respectful of my personal taste. He was on time, both to start and finish and kept me informed of all progress. Best of all, the budget was sacrosanct!

The scope of the project involved removing the wall between the kitchen, living room and dining room. Tearing up marble tiles in the hallway and kitchen. Removing a door in the kitchen. New hardwood flooring throughout including the hallway landing. Replacing the bannister, staining the stairs up to the landing and down to the family room to match the floors. A brand new ikeas kitchen including an island which was assembled and installed by optibuild design. Installation of granite counter tops and back splashes. Replacement of electrical paneling and extensive rewiring done by certified craftsmen.
Optibuild had a crew of 3 men on site every day for 6 weeks. They were on time every day.
The quality of the work was excellent and we were completely satisfied.
