Brian and his team at Perimeter Contracting expanded on our simple vision and went above and beyond to create a unique and stylish deck. Their diligent work ethic and attention to detail produced a quality deck that added a beautiful space to our home. We are very pleased and would highly recommend Perimeter Contracting.

We first met Brian at the London Home Show in the spring of 2013. We discussed a number of options for replacing our 15 year old cedar deck. He was extremely helpful in outlining the various product choices available to us. Since low-to-no maintenance was our requirement, we ended up agreeing that Azek would be an appropriate choice. We ultimately decided not to have the work done in 2013, but by this year, it was clear that it could not wait another year. Even though we met with 4 or 5 contractors last year, and consulted a similar number this year, Brian's professionalism, attention to our requirements and competitive bid put him at the top of our list to get the job done. He presented 3 designs for the new deck, all within our stated budget. Once we confirmed that he would be doing the job, he and his 2 helpers began the tear out of the old deck within a week. They were on-site every day for the following two weeks, and Brian remained in communication with us, as necessary, throughout. The final cost was slightly more than the original quote, but only because we decided to change the balusters to a more expensive style, and during tear-out, Brian discovered an old concrete pad underneath. This required jack-hammering 7 holes to accommodate posts for the new deck. The finished product is beautiful and extremely well built. Brian's attention to detail is impressive. The new deck is everything we had envisioned and more. It would go without saying, (but I'll say it anyway) we strongly recommend Perimeter Contracting.

We hired Brian and his team to construct a deck in our backyard and could not be more pleased with our decision. My husband and I were very hesitant about hiring a contractor as this was our first experience and the horror stories shown on TV made us wary. From the initial design process to the completion of the work, we were absolutely impressed with Brian’s creativity, patience and professionalism. He created a beautiful design that incorporated the features we requested in the deck while ensuring that it complimented the layout of our house and respected our budget. We were also fortunate enough to watch Brian and his team work. Their attention to detail and skill was beyond compare. It was extremely hot that week and the guys worked Monday through Friday 7am - 6pm without complaining. They cleaned up after themselves every day. I didnt have to do anything but set up my furniture and enjoy. I absolutely LOVE my new deck. And so do my neighbours...apparently I was the talk of the neighbourhood :)

Our fence is very attractive and gives us the privacy we require - exactly what we had hoped for. Brian was thoughtful about our requests and creative in his solutions to our needs and our particular landscape challenges. We had a basic idea of what we wanted and Brian with his experience and vision made valuable suggestions that we had not considered but have since determined were exactly what fit our needs and budget. Brian took the time to meet with us in person when we needed to, as well as keeping in regular contact via email and telephone. We always felt that we had his attention and our desires were being met.

He and his team were responsible for dismantling and removing our old deck and designing and building the new larger deck that is both attractive and functional. As part of our plans we wanted to include a new hot tub. As a result Brian oversaw obtaining a quality electrician who provided the necessary updating and installation of the wiring, sub panel etc. Brian also adjusted his construction schedule to accommodate the delivery and installation of the hot tub. The deck was built very solid taking into consideration the size and support of the hot tub, as well as being attractive. Brian incorporated louvered panels to the privacy wall to provide both decorative options as well as privacy when wanted, as well as recessed lights on a timer to provide safety lighting on the steps as well as ambient lighting.

Brian on numerous occasions demonstrated his eye for detail and was not satisfied with things being simply "ok". In addition, when we made suggestions after construction began, he readily adjusted what needed to be done to meet our needs.

We found Brian's quotes to be very reasonable and competitive with others that we sought. In addition his team were extremely courteous and professional, even when working under extremely hot weather conditions. They not only were very capable craftsmen but obviously enjoyed their work.

Brian and his team surpassed our expectations and we will be using his services again in the future. We have recommended Perimeter Contracting to family who have also enjoyed his work. We will continue to recommend Perimeter Contracting to anyone interested in professional high quality workmanship.

Brian was a pleasure to deal with. Other than the fact that he was unable to start on time, largely due to very poor weather slowing down other projects in which he was engaged, we had no issues. We found Brian to be courteous and reliable. He promptly completed the project in accordance with our expectations. We were very pleased.

Brian and his crew were unbelievably professional and efficicent. My fence and gate were completed before schedule and it was immaculate when they left. The quality of work was beyond exceptional and I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone.
