Splendid Renovations

We were looking for a painter to paint the interior of our home at the last minute and this business was highly recommended to us. Adrian managed to fit us in and the work he did was great! He was always pleasant, easy to work with and he arrived on time every day working hard and going above and beyond. He fixed a closet door and a pocket door for us as well. When Splendid finished the project Adrian walked around with us going over the work that was completed and they cleaned up everything afterwards. We are very happy with our freshly painted home and will definitely be using Adrian for any future renovations and painting. We highly recommend Splendid Renovations for any painting or home renovations.

Having our very first renovation project, we were very glad that we chose Adrian as our Contractor for our house renovation. He was very patient to listen to all of our requests and find solutions to achieve within the budget. He is very fair in his pricing and a very humble person in general. He was kind enough to share his knowledge with us to help us with potential DIYs in the future.

Our bathroom reno consisted adding a shower to our ensuite. This involved moving a wall, removing a closet; basically tearing out everything and re-doing everything. He added support for future glass door installation even though we did not do it this time. He is very professional in that he put a lot of emphasis on fixing the root cause of all the issues we faced. No shortcut was taken through the course of our renovation. The two bathrooms were very well done and he paid attention to every detail. He took full responsibility for our unforeseen circumstances too.

Our laundry reno consisted of replacing our drop ceiling, adding a closet for our boiler/furnace, adding a sink, and relocating our laundry machines. He went above and beyond in doing some extra repairs and services to achieve what we envision for the place.

The drywall work throughout the house involved removing the window valances and repainting popcorn ceiling. The texture matching was very well done; we cannot see the difference at all.

Overall, we are very pleased with the results and we would definitely ask Adrian to help us again for future renovations.

Adrian worked diligently on a fireplace project that required a lot of attention to detail and specific materials. He went out of his way to meet my requirements as well as pick up specific materials and parts. He made sure the job site was left in a clean state each time and completed the project within a reasonable time. Adrian is an honest and knowledgeable tradesman who offered helpful advice, fair pricing, and flexible scheduling.

Adrian removed 2 major walls, rebuild one and extend another. Two rooms were converted to 1 to be a dining room. The other was removed and was rebuilt about 36 inches behind. The new wall was to have additional kitchen cabinets and counter installed. Electrical work was extensive too. There were many challenges during the project that could not be anticipated prior to the beginning of the project. Adrian was successful on all challenges.
