I hired Variety finishing to renovate my kitchen. From the first meeting to the completion of the job they were professional, courteous, friendly and confident. Everyone who I had the pleasure of dealing with made me feel comfortable and this was very important to me as they were going to be in my home. I would 100% recommend them for any home project you may have as I will definitely be hiring them for future Reno’s. Thanks again everyone!

We have lived in our house for over 40 years and had many Reno's done during that time . The last and most complicated to me was doing our kitchen.

We had many problems with contractors including shoddy workmanship, not showing up, price gouging and time delays over the many things we had done, so I was very hesitant to do the kitchen.

My daughter had Anna and Courtney give her an estimate to do their basement and they were one of 4 contractors they interviewed. They were impressed with their caring attitude and professionalism so hired them. They did a wonderful job AND did it on time. They had some great aesthetic ideas that worked beautifully and I was impressed.

They had a consult with us, we collaborated on ideas and decided to go ahead.

My husband and I couldn't have been happier with them. Anna kept things going smoothly and I never had to worry about getting things done or making sure subcontractors showed up. Everyone was friendly, respectful and did a very professional job. Anna Always kept me in the loop and I always knew week to week the game plan. Both Anna snd Courtney are very particular and even though some things I thought we great they insisted could be better. You don't see that kind of care very often.

The kitchen turned out beautifully and I've had many compliments. We have since recommended them to other people as I'm confident they will be as happy as us. We would DEFINITELY hire them again!!

We contracted Ana and Variety Finishing after a basement flood in 2020. Great advice to help us explore options, very helpful recommendations to fix the basement, and no up-selling or pressure. All work done on time, on budget and involved lots of helpful discussion and advice. All contractors arrived when Ana said they would and did great work. We are very pleased with the work completed and Ana's follow-up to make sure we were happy with the work is to be commended. No hesitation in recommending Variety Finishing and I would use them again for any other work in my house.

We had our ceiling painted by Luis and his helper this week! They were very quick, professional and they did a terrific job! Afterwards, I asked about availability for painting a couple of walls. Although they were super busy, Luis went above and beyond and squeezed us in the next day!

We had a wonderful experience with Variety Finishing and specifically Luis. We will definitely use them again the future!

We renovated a condo we own in Edmonton before selling it while living in Red Deer.

Ana was so helpful and saved us numerous trips to Edmonton by picking up supplies for us or helping us make product selections by taking pictures and then sending them to us. This was all done at no extra cost to us.

Ana always made sure we were informed about how the job was progressing. She communicated promptly by email, text and phone.

Ana and Courtney really cared about every aspect of the renovation. They were willing to return to our suite even after completion to make sure we were totally satisfied. Their customer service is amazing!

We received an offer on our condo after it was on the market for only one week. I think that speaks to the beautiful job done by the team at Variety Finishing. We would highly recommend them.

Shortly after we moved into our new home, we unfortunately had a flood and had many unforseen issues arise. We initially went through insurance and another contractor - both awful, frustrating experiences. We sought out another contractor- trying to find a company with excellent communication, problem solving, on budget & task, and respectful. A friend recommended Variety Finishing. Simple put, this company restored our faith regarding the world of house renovations. Ana and her team were the upmost respectful and courteous. They always kept the house clean and safe (we have little kids). Ana communicated daily to ensure all my questions were answered. The team provided high quality affordable work, and on budget. My husband found VF via web search and all the reviews are true! From the in-depth written quote, to finishing the job EARLY we have nothing bad to say about this experience. Ana was so communicative and in-touch almost daily and even added a few little touches that were not included in our quote and did not charge extra. In our previous home we finished the basement and had the worst experience (to the point of almost going to court over it) and this was SO refreshing to see how a proper business is run. WE have, and will, recommend VF for any future home renos!

Ana and Courtney are real professionals, and it shows in the quality of the work they do, and their dedication to their projects. They helped me finish a complete renovation of my house after my previous contractor had done a poor job. They communicated clearly, patiently, and courteously from beginning to end. They managed the project that included tile and flooring installation, kitchen cabinets, countertops, paint, doors, trim, etc. and at all times they kept me informed and updated.

There are other contractors out there that do an excellent work too, but with Ana and Courtney, it is more than just business. They provide excellent customer service, and I could not imagine doing another renovation without their help.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Ana and Courtney from Variety Finishing. They were very professional and did an excellent job with finishing my basement. While they were working at my house, they always took the time to greet my kids and say hi to my dog. When I needed help with something another contractor neglected to tell me about, Courtney not only gave me advice, he helped me complete the work.
