We hired Steve for a small bathroom reno project in November 2016. To start with positive notes, Steve is fast and good at mudding drywalls. BUT, he is a contractor with a serious anger management issue. Each time my wife or I asked him any questions, he somehow got offended and became aggressive. He even threatened to walk away many times to shut us up since the day one. During the renovation, he accidentally broke one of our expensive fixture. He didn't apologize; instead he got angry and walked away. We didn't accuse him of the damage or anything as he was clearly agitated. After a painful discussion with Steve, we agreed to give him the partial payment based on the progress to date minus the damage he caused as we didn't want him to continue his work due to his attitude. Afterwards, I realized he took out all construction waste and dumped it in my garage, which included sharp and dangerous objects knowing we have a four-year old daughter. When I contacted him politely to have the garbage removed, he literally told me to f*** off and called me a prick. Not a present experience. We would not recommend his service to our family, friends or anyone.
