Hello all,
Im here again, Im about to sign a contract for Daikin Quad Split type heat pump but then I look around for second quotation someone gave me for half the price for 2 Lennox Heat Pump.
The guy from Daikin defended his proposal that his is more cost effective and energy efficient and while to other guy offer the same. Of course sales guy will do anything to make their sale.
So basically the setup will be:
For Daikin: I find it OVER KILL
1 - 18k BTU for the main level
1 - 9k BTU for the master's bedroom
1- 7K BTU for the second room
1 - 7K BTU for the third room
So there will be only one compressor will be setup.
For Lennox: Just find it right.. But I dont know this is my first time...
1 - 12K BTU for the main level
1 - 12k BTU for the upper level
So each evaporator will have its own dedicated compressor.
So my questions are:
1. Which one is cost effective?
2. Which one is energy efficient?
Need all you help...
Thank you once again...
Jake
Hi Jake,
The Daikin is more costly because it is more diverse, more controlable and delivers greater BTU output than the Lennox. If this is overkill for your needs then go with the Lennox and settle for less features.
If your buying a Ford pick-up do you want the regular F150 or do you want the Platinium more money more options.
