Cost to add a front porch

Good day,

I am the kind of person who needs an indoor/outdoor space, a covered porch or a sun room off the side. I'm wondering how much it would cost to add a front porch, with roof, large enough for a two person day sofa and an end table, or a sun room off the back of the house. I would not be looking to add any space to the basement. I am in St. James so I hear the ground is not the best and am worried of the addition being heavy and slanting over the years.

Just looking for a rough estimate to create a savings budget for this project.
