How much would something like this cost? 24x14 wood garage with new cement slab. Garage with vinyl siding. Remove old garage.

Looking for cost at this time.

Thanks.

There is a lot of variables but you will start at $20,000 and go up from there.

Larry,

I would suggest that you shop around for the basic package at a Rona, Home Depot or similar store. They have sales and can provide you with all the materials such as windows, man door, overhead garage door, roofing, siding etc. The pad is pretty basic as you are not going too large. Again, phone some local cement contractors for estimates. Price also depends on if they have to build up or remove some of the existing ground, add sand/gravel for a base (compacted), current cost of concrete, etc. For a single garage ... finished with pad, a $20,000 figure is ballpark. Consider going mid range (price wise) because the new structure will also add value to your property, if done properly.

Just take your time, do a little research, and make a budget that you can live with.

Good luck,

Mark

We charge $25,000 base cost for new build garage with single door up to 8' wide and single door.

plus;

$3,000-$5,000 for remove existing garage (need to see it and site conditions)

$1,500 to $10,000 for features (epoxy floor, electrical options, window, shelving)

$?? permit fee - depends on work retired - you will need a legal land survey or site plan and drawings and permit fee.

Hi Larry,

Some times if take the old garage down zoning will not let rebuild a new one so check with zoning first but a ballpark cost is $25,000.00.
