I have a type of telepost that I do not know how to adjust. There is no flat spot where I could use a wrench. There is a notch and a hole that I believe are there for some kind of tool that is to be used for adjustment but I have no idea what that tool might be.Any thoughts?-Richard Preston, Calgary, AB
This is a normal kind of telepost. They come with a short steel rod (about 1' long) that fits the hole; you can beat on it with a hammer if needed.
Hi, The telepost will have flat spots on either side on the threaded portion, use a crescent wrench to adjust.
put a solid rod in hole and turn...if its too hard too move a trick I use is a car jack and a 4x4 under the beam, lift it juts a little too give a littel slack at top of telepost
