Estimate for Range Hood Installation

We are planning our kitchen reno in Etobicoke and trying to make sure we vent the range hood outside - currently there is no range hood. What is the approximate cost for installation of the hood on a kitchen wall that is shared with the garage. It would go through a brick wall and across the top of the garage and through the exterior brick wall of the garage (approx. 12 ft).

It really depends if there's electrical near the range hood location. But, based on past experiences expect from $400-$800 depending on the electrical contractor of your choosing.
