The sink is located in an island within the kitchen, infront of the fridge.

It usually depends on the situation, is the ceiling finished below the kitchen, how much do company's charge for their service call, how much material and fittings are needed. These are questions you can ask the plumbing company. Most times the company will come out and inspect the situation before giving you a cost other times company's will give you a cost and it will cover all situations.

It is an unfinished basement and nothing is on the ceiling.
